Using Bluetooth Headset on Mumble
« on: February 23, 2011, 07:46:56 PM »
Wassup, I use a standard Scud bluetooth earpiece for games on mumble...I use the audio config wizard to eliminate most back ground noise but not all (I also have recording volume for the device set on 1%)

Its great to game wirelessly with my cordless logitech desktop and wireless xbox 360 controller

but I was wondering if there is some way to config the device for zero feedback and thus flawless communication even with the high sensitivity of the device

Best thing to do is use push to talk.

something about using a bluetooth headset for hrs and hrs of gaming doesnt seem safe... But using Push-to-Talk probly isnt the best idea if u are using a 360 control. Defeats the purpose of using the control. Did u reduce the microphone boost on the PC itself?

What sort of setup do you have? This is in the living room on the LCD TV perhaps?

yea fellahs was on a hiatus....my setyp is in my room usual logitech z5500 surround sound..22' dell monitor hooked up on dvi...sony bravia hooked up on hdmi...all to my gaming pc....wireless xbox controller and bluetooth headset configured in mumble...the best way i configured the bluetooth headset was to set the volume to 1 out of 100 which is aqequate enuff by far and set it to "speech only" while defining what the speech is in the audi config... or and logitech mk550 kb and mouse thats also 2.4ghz so can game from far with that also.
