I really really find that hard to believe.

Are they saying Skyrim's day one sales outdid MW3 day one sales?

Or rather than Skyrim's day one sales outdid MW3 day 6 sales?

It outselling MW3

Poor MW3 :ohhoho:

The best part about that webpage was the comments below....

"Are you seriously trying to imply that PC gamers all live in basements playing RPGs and being an antisocial loser? I think you’re just mad you have the inferior platform and can’t help but think of generic criticism to make yourself look cool. COD sucks. Badly. That is all." ....LMAO

I think its sad that a title as good as skyrim would need to market itself against COD. MW3 sales figures overall crushes ALL AND SUNDRY, it doesn't make sense to compare PC sales when we ALL know cod is a console game now. To lower yourself to even argue the comparison shows lack of maturity for a game that is so epic.

Yeah Elder Scrolls is indeed a hell of alot O fun, I played it for months then put it down to play something else. picked it back up and played for months again and I had not even touched the main quest since after I saved Jean-Luc's lil bastard kid.

I expect no less from Skyrim... Nah... I expect more damn it... 1st days game play I expect to be getting killed by wildlife because I cant keep my eyes off the trees and mountain sides.

"Your Amazon.com order of "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" has shipped!" 5-8 days free shipping, expect to be busy with BF3 for some time.

On a side note, is there any retro gaming in GATT, a lil Q3A maybe

I haven't played the game (much) so I won't know of these issues, however anyone care to comment on the following:

PC Skyrim is a frustrating mess—and will soon be the best version

I was impressed by the graphics and attention to detail when I played Elder Scrolls: Skyrim on the PC, and the first few hours I spent with the game flew by. Soon, however, the game's terrible menus and user interface began to sour the experience, and I found myself tempted to put the game back on the shelf for a month or so until these issues can be fixed.

This might be a contender for game of the year, but it's also a clunky mess once you begin to level up your character, manage your inventory, or use your map. The good news for PC players is that a full suite of modding tools is on the way, and the community will take care of all the balls that were dropped by the original development teams. And boy oh boy, so many balls were dropped.

Jim Rossignol summed up most of the issues I have with the game's usability issues over at Rock Paper Shotgun:

Hell, Oblivion's awkward interface was bad enough, but at least it allowed you to see almost everything at a glance. And sure, Bethesda, take away my stats, but at least allow me to see what I am wearing and equipped with inside the menus? The bonuses I have? Anything? No? And so I have to exit the menu system to look at my character? And I also have scroll through everything just to see what I am carrying? And even when you are clicking about in the menu there's a huge margin of error with a mouse, that most precise of pointing devices? Come on, Bethesda, this is not the future of RPG interface design we were promised.

Just an excerpt taken from a first review: arstechnica.com/gaming/news/2011/11/pc-skyrim-is-a-frustrating-messand-will-soon-be-the-best-version.ars

It's easier seen than said:
