Saw this earlier today...With my crazy high expectations, I was BLOWN AWAY.

The action sequences are insane and visually awesome ESPECIALLY in 3D.
Folks this is finally a film that you have to see in 3D. Don't settle for the 2D version.

The ending, HOUR long battle sequence will have your jawdropped continuously.
Optimus and Bumblee are some serious badasses in this film. Amazing amazing, robot fighting choreography.

When you have the entire theatre clapping and cheering for every awesome finishing move, or even when Optimus says his lines you know the movie is a crowd pleaser.
Heck people applauded at the end of the film for a good 10 seconds. The only other movie I've ever seen people applaud for was Transformers 1.

Don't go into the movie expecting Hurt Locker/King's Speech acting and performances.
This is a fun filled, action filled, cg fest. The plot is very thin and the signature goofy outtatiming humor still exists.
Regardless go and enjoy it... take in the awesome action sequences of Michael Bay.

IMHO this is simply the best action film ever..
I will be buying this on blu-ray day one and most likely will go watch it again :D

Some people going into movies like Green Lantern and TF3 expecting deep and perfect plots and what not. It's a Michael Bay movie... c'mon! :P

I disagree.

This is why Hollywood will always get a pass for these types of movies.

Sure I want to see it, but as a paying consumer, don't I have the right to demand a better product?

I accept it for what it is, but keep in mind that better is ALWAYS possible,
and until these movies start flopping financially one after the other, Hollywood just won't get the hint.

Ok saw it yesterday in 2D because the 3D was sold out. In my opinion it sucked!!

I loved the first Transformers, found the second was okay but this I couldn't stand. It took everything I didn't like in the second movie and amplified it. Granted the good stuff was even cooler than before but for every good scene there were two bad ones.

This is first big disappointment of the year for me. First Class was really good, Thor was good, even GL I enjoyed but I just cant rate this higher than 3.5/10.

No offense Eroo, but you hadda be crazy.

This movie was absolutely bad ass. I can't see how anyone with blood pumping through
their veins could possibly not enjoy this movie. I liked the first movie, hated the second,
but this one IMO was the best of the 3. They found a much better balance between action
and story in this one as opposed to the last film. The storyline wasn't the most original,
but who cares. It's not like we were expecting the movie to have Watchmen level
storytelling. If you go in looking for insanely entertaining action sequences to get your
blood boiling, Transformers 3 more than fits the bill.

I dunno Eroo, maybe you were tired, or maybe you saw it with some boring, boojy crowd.
I just can't see someone giving this movie a 3.5. Madness. I never spend money to see
the same film twice , but I'll most likely make an exception this time around.

This movie was enjoyable to an extent (it had its moments) but to me it was meh overall.

5/10

This movie is a good example of people glorifying overhyped mediocrity.

I agree with Hard O/C and Eroo.....they amplified all the things I didn't like about the previous outings (save for the parents, who had less screen time thankfully)

However, they also amplified the good stuff.

For the first two hours, I was in meh mode and almost fell asleep, twice.

The dialog was uninspired, hackneyed and borderline insulting to the intelligence.

Likewise for the plot mechanics. Got this feeling of dejavu, we've been here before...with this same cast (save the megan fox upgrade).

One big "do over".

Seems like they were stretching to make a connection and give the script some substance.

Spoiler (hover to show)

Its like they just went through a check list of items with potential to get a rise out of the audience and threw 'em in the blender. Scattershot strat ftw. Something must hit!

Then for the last 30 minutes the director was like "aww, f$#^ it, lets just overwhelm them with the baddest scifi robot fight scene in human history"

The last piece did it for me. Some Donnie Yen level fight choreography.

Spoiler (hover to show)

Rise immc.
