I think Skyline focuses on that group of ppl trying to survive as was done in Cloverfield and this deals more with the general battle against the invasion. Only similarity is that they are both alien invasion movies lol.

I tallied up all the amount of time I watched this trailer and I think I viewed it, 59 times...maybe more.
I think this is goin to be the kickass surprise hit of 2011
and it looks much better than skyline, which was really disappointed    (except for the visuals which were impressive considering the budget)
This movie looks like Independence Day and Black Hawk Down, mixed with Call of Duty and a dash of District 9, smothered by a touch of Cloverfield
I hope I won't be disappointed

Bad news hoss Cap's trailer has been delayed due to the first cut getting bad reception at a screening and the director wants a proper one lol.

Anyway back on topic, I like the trailer progression for this movie;

1st Trailer- Made to make ppl guess
2nd Trailer- Bunch of random scenes and a little hint of the plot but more guessing
3rd Trailer- More fleshed out with regards to plot, set pieces etc.
