During that GS4 Presentation, i was in physical pain! That was d stupidest presentation in d history of technology. *Opens Brain, Shift+Delete GS4 Event*. Having said that, the hardware was to be expected, i glad dey gone polycarb, another cheap plastic phone would have been epic fail. Nice 5" screen, stole a few features from the Lumia 920 as the HTC One did. But that's to be expected. Saw they stuck to the Removable battery design, i'm sure arcman have ah big smile on he face now. Final Verdict, GS4 satisfactory, nothing WOW worthy. Waiting to see the Nokia EOS now.

It doesn't need to be anything epic nuh.

tbh, the S3 already did "epic"

Incremental updates is all that is required to continue to pwn the competition.

My interest in a new phone right now is zilch until YOUM hits the market.

The current crop already doing EVERYTHING I need and then some. Zero upgrade-bug-itis.

Note 2 ftw.

That's the same lame excuse apple does give ever year eh. "Doesnt need to be anything epic, why inovate when u doh have to, it's already epic, incremental is good, it's going to sell millions anyways, ray ray ray."

At the end of d day, i as a techie consumer want them to push d boundaries of what's possible. The GS4 aint that. It's good, solid iteration, but like i said, nothing WOW worthy.

hahahah, yeah boy.

If that happens (and I pray that it doesn't), I'll definitely spring for this.

Android has impressed me in so many ways eh. It not funny.

Just yesterday I was in a friend's car and when he saw all the sh!t I could do with my phone, he was blown away.

It is always epic to see the reaction of people when they behold the power of an Android phone for the first time. lol

Your Galaxy S4 tears...I can taste them.  :laughing7:
Thank you Samsung.  The new  flagship Galaxy is suitably awesome.  All the haters can do is hate.

 - Higher capacity, 2600 MAh, Removable battery.   :happy0203:

 - 'Wireless' charging

 - Optional, removable, upgrade-able storage.   :happy0203:

 - Wicked internals.....connectivity and sensors like WHOA!!!  :awesome:

 - Full HD, 441 ppi display

 - New 13 MP rear, 2 MP front 'dual shot' cameras

That sound I just heard is probably Samsung moving another 100-million phone. :laughing7:
This, in my opinion is a worthy successor to an already boss flagship.  The improvements are much more than just a pretty screen and a longer chassis.  :/
There's enough new tech/features on offer here to qualify this as an actual upgrade.  If you were expecting some sort of 'revolution', then you're doing it wrong.

Now, just gimme all that awesomeness in the Galaxy Note 3, and I'll have a very hard time keeping my money.  :icon_thumright:

That 'event' was admittedly kinda lame...coulda shaved as much as 40 mins off that by gutting all the useless fluff.

:laughing7:   De hatin start, de hatin start, de hatin start, de hatin start...

Poor HTC.  :laughing7:

...and now, in other possible 'shut-up-and-take-my-money' news...   :awesome:

http://www.engadget.com/2013/03/14/samsung-prototype-wireless-game-pad-hands-on/

Quote
It's powered by dual AAA batteries and connects wirelessly, the phone held in place by an expanding clamp up top that looks plenty big enough to support a Note II (we tried, it fit fine) and maybe even something like the Note 8.0!

Wow...impressive, impressive, impressive.

All these powerful features in a mobile telephone you can take anywhere. Pretty soon all a pc would be used for is booring stuff like working on Excel documents! I love it.

Run, samsung + Android, RUN. Show the world how its done.

What Mez says there is true I like it but I doubt I'll ever use it ...

As for the S4... Only gripe is they're still using plastic ... Samsung spending SO much on marketing now they can't put some of that towards design and materials... Just a little.... Other than that some good specs....

That mobile gaming control for the phone going to fail, and fail bad, sorry.

@ Preston, after seeing HTC build quality on the HTC One, it really disappointing to see sammy's plastic design.

@ Arc, it is a worthy successor, a bump in all d specs and features. Galaxy S3s, samsung fans basically going to be sounding like apple fans for d new few months. And no, i was not expecting revolution, but i was hoping for it, and want it. Ah lil bendable screen action or something. Ah well, next year for sure, it's tough tryin to catch santa at 4.
