As expected your a windows fanboy.. u won't like the android which is fine.. to each its own, on the issue with supporting top phones wrt the quality I agree with you, no one brand should be used as an excuse for call quality. I do however have to ask you what areas did.you experience these problems because I have noticed with the limited testing I have done, geographic location is very important when it comes to getting the best out of the service.. but brother I as a TSTT user I would say expect worst from TSTT.. they just can't get it right.

lmao good one.. but the fact that u have to use a phone with big blocks as icons like ur a little baby or some down syndrome person, and that it uses low resolutions so that text can be seen even by Steve Wonder ,and can't even get effective speeds on Digicel network, says a lot about windows phones :D (troll)

Anyone know anything about the 'BLU' line of android phones? one looks like a straight ripoff of the s3.

The review was missing something critical.. how responsive the phone is, gmsarena puts it at a 6xxMHz single core... which if you compare other SP <1GHz android phones on Gingerbread can be a bit sluggish at times... so I am somewhat expecting this phone to crawl when switching tasks quickly.... That being said, some updates for androind coming and could be quite good:

Android performance boosted 30-100 percent by Linaro toolchain
The CyanogenMod project and Google's AOSP are merging the Linaro improvements.

Linaro’s efforts have boosted Android’s performance, delivering an improvement of 30 to 100 percent in various benchmarks. They achieved these impressive gains by adapting Android 4 so that it could be built with their improved GCC toolchain.

We first wrote about Linaro in 2010 when the non-profit organization was founded by a consortium of hardware and software companies, including ARM, Samsung, TI, and Canonical. Linaro has worked to improve the quality of Linux on the ARM architecture, focusing largely on hardware-enablement and tooling.

The group is closely aligned with Ubuntu, but the improvements that it is driving offer benefits for the broader ecosystem of platforms and distributions that are deployed on ARM hardware. They have done a lot of work upstream in GCC (the GNU Compiler Collection) to open the door for better ARM optimization in Linux and other open source software.

Linaro’s GCC improvements have been producing measurable performance advantages over Google’s stock Android environment and build toolchain since late last year. Google is reportedly accepting some of these improvements in the upstream Android Open Source Project and independent developers are also looking to put them to use.

As a recent blog post at Liliputing pointed out, Linaro improvements are being merged in Cyanogen, a popular third-party ROM that is maintained through a community-driven process. Enthusiasts have already started generating device-specific builds that incorporated the Linaro patches. A Linaro build for the Galaxy Nexus, for example, was published this week on reddit (disclosure: reddit is a cousin site of Ars).

If you are looking for more information about Linaro, or want to get involved, you can find out more by visiting the organization’s website or checking out the Linaro projects that are hosted on the Launchpad collaboration site.

Update: updated to indicate that Google is merging the improvements, based on a Google+ comment made by Google engineer Jean-Baptiste Queru.
http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2012/06/android-performance-boosted-30-100-percent-by-linaro-toolchain/

I wouldn't mind a 30-100% improvement in performance for nothing :)

"Still, we found the capacitive screen to be more responsive than we were expecting, and the CPU was at least powerful enough to keep the stock Gingerbread device going at a relatively snappy pace. It presented us with a fair amount of lag, but it was nowhere near as much as we had originally presumed. Armed with the understanding that this is strictly meant to be a budget Android device, we were generally quite impressed with its polish.

Rounding out the specs, the Studio 5.3 runs stock Android 2.3.5 (screenshots below), boasts 512MB of RAM, a monstrous 2,500mAh battery, an LED flash for the camera and flashlight, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, a second SIM slot and support for a FM radio."

For the price bmobile has this for, i'd get this for someone just getting into smartphones.

A nice big screen, hundreds of thousands of apps and passable specs, it is just enough to wet the appetite.

Would I buy it for myself? HELLLLLL nawww
