Reporting to you live from within os6 on my 9700 all is milk and honey over here. Let me start by saying that os6 is to any previous iteration as windows 7 is to vista.
Anyone can go online and read a review of os6 but a I am actively using it (one of the first on this forum) so I can shed a bit of first hand light. Let me begin by saying that it is awesome!!
Typing this on th new tabbed browser right now and its great. Very smooth and fluid movements, fast load times, tab enabled, in short light years ahead of the previous version.
Brand new interface and universal search is very very nifty. From the home screen, type literally anything and once it exists, be it a contact, setting or feature u will have instant access. The interface is completely redone. It looks damn good people.
All my apps from os5 works. Keep in mind I'm using a beta version for my phone (bold 9700) so things could get even better.
All in all, this is a very worthwile upgrade for those who have a compatible device. As good as it is, I still can't recommend anyone throw down $600us on a new torch (although the phone itself is nice). I'd rather spend that kinna money on a good Android phone like the HTC desire HD.
