looking to buy 32'' lcdtv

Today i'm looking to buy a 32'' lcd tv, most likely from circuitzone. was looking for a thread about lcd tv that  i saw a while back but was without lock.

what are the recommend brands to buy? i saw supertech also have an aoc 32'' for 3900. so most likely its between that and one from circuit zone.


Sony 32" 720P LCD HDTV KDL32BX300  TTD4,298.00

Toshiba 32" 720P LCD HDTV TTD4,188.00

These are what cicruitzone have on their website. i'll call later to see if they have in stock.

Tv will be to watch movies and play ps3.

anyone have experience with the above tvs?

I'm on a budget. will have to settle with 720 for now. I don't see circuit zone have any 1080p 32'' on their site anyway

actually.. dont be fooled by 1080p or bust crowd...

viewing distance and screen size will determine what resolution u will be able to see a difference at...

for a 32" once u viewin from greater dan 4ft.. u wont see a diff between 1080 and 720...

secondly.. ive been hearin sony has been disappointing in the low end (32").. prolly cuz they focusin on d more mainstream/high end 40 and above...

i bought a LG recently and it looks great imo.. paid 4500 for it..

man if your using it for ps3 and movies, save a lil money and go 720p just make sure it's 60hz plus.

Any guidance? I want to buy today. I got some good reviews on amazon and other sites. The refresh rate is 60hz.

supertech has an aoc L32w961 for 4000. I think thats a better deal than the toshiba

Sony 32" 720P LCD HDTV KDL32BX300 i have 2 of these in the house it is very good 3 HDMI in ,vga connection to hook up your pc it's a very nice hdtv.I think there is a 32" 1080p version for about $500 to $1000 more than the 720p version,check firstchoice i think he is the one that has the 1080p version

60Hz is boring, look for 120Hz or higher!!!

supertech has a dead pixel policy where there needs to be at least 4 dead pixels before a return can be made.

circuitzone has a policy where you must buy a ups with the tv for bout 460. all comes up to about 5200.

warranty is 6mths

i wouldnt recommend an AOC.. never had good experiences with their lcd's in general

people also recommend price smart but i find their electronics to be substandard once warranty is up.

looks like i'll have to settle for the one toshiba in circuitzone.  The toshiba model is 32cv100u

I would always say spring for a 1080p set. Even if you dont have need for it right now its nice to have.
