Hey guys, LP have e-mailed the track "Wretches & Kings" to those who pre-ordered the album.

Listen if you want:

I'm gonna (attempt to) avoid temptation though. Want to listen through the full album having only heard "The Catalyst" =]

must say, im liking what Im hearing from this album so far.

there is also a compilation of 12 tracks from this new album floating around. pretty wicked tracks so far.

U mean on youtube? I saw those and im pretty sure they're fake :S

As for the song it's not bad. I don't hate it but i don't love it either. Hope the rest of the album has that wow effect.

Lawd jus so? What exactly makes it a let down? I thought it was solid. And i agree with the review i posted above it's head over heels better than most of M2M. Some parts of it reminded me of Muse a bit and the sense of innovation found on Hybrid Theory was present too. Overall a great concept album. 7/10

Listening to it right now and I feel like I'm being trolled, I actually had to turn up the volume on a few songs to make sure it was Chester singing.

Im not going to argue about taste in music or anything. But this is FARRR from what I was expecting. Especially with the fairly decent tracks catalyst and wretches and kings.

Chester's voice sounds weak. Its almost like they making an effort to make this album fail. Dead by Sunrise(Chester side project) was better imo.

Thats the order i like the albums. Tho M2M is still and will always be sh!t

But i kinda surprised myself tho since i usually listen to metal/hard rock and i ended up liking this album O_o

I...I really liked it. Unlike M2M this was really ambitious.
I think it's safe to say that the LP from the Hybrid Theory and Meteora days is gone, but this new LP isn't bad at all imo.
I got the feeling that this is road they wanted to go down with M2M but failed. If that was the case then this 2nd effort is a million times better.
Wasn't perfect (didn't quite dig Waiting for the End and The Messenger), but it was still a good experience listening to this album.

I had the same prob i had with M2M where in some songs it seems some band members had nothing at all to do (Brad/Phoenix) :\ Didn't like The Messenger and Iridescent. I'm not hardcore Lp like i once was but i respect them again. That being said for the 5th album i hope it has more of a "rock" sound as well as consistency.
