Well, LP have decided the winner of their Featuring You contest.

Here's the vid of them going through the remixes and choosing the winner. When the guy saw Mike, he shat bricks lol:

Not what I expected to win...but it's pretty good. I see it has a lot of dislikes on Youtube, and from the comments people are saying LP is going techno lol. It's just a remix though.

Mike said this in the myspace video:
"It feels kinda like the album...it's almost like you heard the record...there's moments of it that sounds like ATS"

hmmm, after listening to the final entry.. i must say...
I think i may have sent in a better submission if Trinidadians were eligible...
The mix was good however, i just found there were better ones out there.

I don't really fancy that version either yes. As for LP going techno lol more like electronica which has been a small part of their music for some time. I think they gonna mix the best aspects of their 3 albums together.

It's...interesting. I like it. Didn't blow my mind though (hoping the rest of the album does that).
Might have to let this one grow on me. Liked it better coming down to the end (when he was singing the "life me up" part).

Mainly cus its the single of a highly anticipated album....
And it feels like they won't deliver.

Solid track imo. Very diff from what i was expecting but good nonetheless.

I initially felt the same. It really is an odd choice for a first single. I do like it, like Archer said it's a solid track. But I can't see it having mass-appeal like What I've Done etc. Feels like one of the "in-between" tracks, not one I'd choose to sell the cd. Then again, maybe people will buy simply because it's Linkin Park.

On the flip side, What I've Done was a great 1st single but the rest of the album was underwhelming compared to that first taste. Hoping that this is going the opposite way.

I'm kind of glad it might not have that mass appeal and it does feel very much like a filler song. Well it's not generic in any sense and thats what I wanted
