well if u gonna get ur connection for gaming alone ( which makes no sense to me ) i guess u gonna have to wait and get feedback if u want to upgrade.

but i download alot of 1080p movies.so i am glad for this

i get my speeds we

10mbit down ( 1.2megabytes per sec easy )
1mbit up

more like 900 up tho

browsing on my macbook pro is nice..i cant imagine it gettin better

What? you think I am Johnny come lately or something?

Well if you knew me well, you'd know I have had 10Mbit for years, that I do a LOT of online gaming and that I have 3 1.5tb and 21tb drives FULL of 720p tv shows, movies games, you name it.

I just think that $400 is too much to pay for internet. Since gaming is reported to be working fine on the 2meg, and consequently 5meg, that covers gaming.

With 25 down, I can surely get a 720p rip in a matter of minutes, which is jizz inducing, but is it worth $400 a month? Hell no.

I amazed at 100mb being offered so soon in Trinidad. Countries like Canada only recently implement speeds near that for residential.
All this is great, but ever since Flow upgraded my package from 6 to 10mb, that was the beginning of internet deterioration. 8 months now I aint seen speeds beyond 2mb except at this hour.

I don't understand why getting a broadband connection for gaming alone 'makes no sense'.
If there was ever a compelling reason to get broadband now, then gaming is one.

Well I was trying to figure out why he would say that myself...very strange.

Wow GG GATT forums for keeping me up to speed on the latest in Flowiness. I understand all points that have been raised. While I say NO to lag like I say No to drugs I must say those speed upgrades will help me download the innanetz even faster. My usenet program will hence be called download_net.exe

So lets see as Arc stated for ten dollars more u get an extra 3 Mbps....hells yea! Yuh know how much nrop yuh could download with that lol.

I myself have u click 2 and of course my first instinct was to look at "revised price" Damn an extra $50 a month....but then I saw 25 Mbps.....WIN! I recently started my 1080p only campaign since getting a new WDTV in the living room and now I can't go back to divx/xvid it's like Colour vs. Black/White.

Of late I've been getting my full 1.2 megabite/sec and if this can double that then WOW, well worth it for me when you averaging 100 gigabytes.....A DAY :S
Damnit now I may have to buy another hard drive.

Ping will be a concern but at least while the Lag fest going on I can take in a lil blu ray? YARRR......Upgrades in d matrix

only thing that will lower pings is probably a new routing protocol, which i doubt we will be seeing anytime soon.

Depending on the time of day my 10meg moves from about 5meg to about .5meg. I shit you not. forget about youtube its unplayable. I actually have to switch over to my 256k blink connection to watch youtube (which still buffers a lot but not as lot as flow during peak hours).

I'm from the east (Eldo) and hardly ever had issues with my Flow connection. I get full speeds just about all the time.

Occasionally the connection might slow down a bit (probably to 7-8meg speeds) but it's rare. As I suggested some time ago,

you all need to download a program called ByWifi to watch Youtube videos properly. It's a video accelerator that works great

with Firefox and IE (not sure if it works with Chrome and other browsers). So I'm all for the new upgrades. Wish they'd do

something about their upload speeds though. 1Mbit is just too slow!!!

Rage I've tried that program and a few others and it has not helped. I believe once flow is throttling the data from a site it doesn't matter how many simultaneous connections we open, it still gonna be limited. It seems like Flow in your area is good. I'm from Palmiste and Flow here has been horrible for the last four months.

It's too bad their service is so inconsistent, some areas having no problems and others getting real horrors. Then again same thing can be said for Blink yes.
