Today i picked up a SWS Subwoofer Sysem.
IT ROCKS !!! LITERALLY !!! :shock:

I have a KLIPSCH PROMEDIA 5.1 and the SWS is an additional 8" Subwoofer that is used together with the 5.1 system. The result - MORE CHEST THUMPING BASS !! So now, my system consistes of 5 satellite speakers and 3 8" subwoofers.

Another cool thing is you can add up to 16 of these subwoofers to an existing system !!

how much did that cost?.....is it good for movies ..i am lokoing for a set of really good speakers for movies ...but i am on a budget thou

well....d actual klipsch 5.1 system is $400US and d addon subwoofer is $100 US. thaz kinda expensive by d time it reach to trinidad. The KLIPSCH dealers sell the 5.1 for $4000 and the addon subwoofer for $1400!!!! But the performance is AWESOME in any arena whether it b games, movies or music !!

If ure on a tight budget, another good system is the LOGITECH Z680. On www.trinitronics.com they have it for $2600 TT. You can check it out the system on the LOGITECH website.

thanks man i was looking at the logitec ...but .....i am not to sure how does satlites sound good for main speakers ...

wow? $4000 for the 5.1 at the klipsh dealers?

Thats expensive.

I saw the same system for TT$2,895.00 and www.buytrinidad.com

much cheaper.

I wouldn't buy the logitechs, I have heard the klipsch and they are MUCH better.

best you settle with some cheap altec lansings if you don't wanna spend a ton of money on sound. If you do want to get some serious bang, buy the klipsch and thank me later.
