Damn...I missed the double XP weekend.
Finally got
a proper mouse to use with my Eagle Eye. It's a shame the Sidewinder X8 won't work,
because I almost want to use this mouse on the PC instead. Can you say ZERO lag?
Yep...just as good as the Sidewinder, with even more buttons.
Talk about an improvement. KDR went from 0.54 to 0.77 in just one night.
If I keep that up I'll be positive soon.
The game is now an absolute blast to play now that I have the correct tools for the job.
Now I can fight online opponents instead of the controls.
One problem though...it seems my stats are not updating in-game. Everything looks
fine on killzone.com, but in-game, everything is at zero. Not really a big deal, but I hope
that's not a bad omen of some kind.
I can now fully recommend the Eagle Eye as a viable alternative to the PS3 controller...
at least for FPS games.
wow.. such high praise for kz3...
when i finish with uncharted 2, is kz3, then infamous 2
is the multiplayer that good as well?
Unequivocally, yes. (Halo and Gears could suck it)
Especially the 'Warzone' mode, which mixes up all the other modes for
a full-on medley of awesomeness for one complete session.
The player classes and unlocks allow you to really hone your particular
style of play...run-and-gun to lone-wolf lurker, and everything else in between.
The 'Infiltrator' class is particularly nasty. They can disguise as friendlies,
and you can only reveal them when you put your crosshairs on them. This
often results in some tense and hilarious moments where you and a team-mate
might open fire on one another...just in case the other is an enemy using the Infiltrator class.
Melee attacks are brutal and satisfying, and vary depending where you catch an enemy.
...and there's hardly any lag you can shake a fist at. Gameplay is smooth,
but it can get chaotic pretty quickly. The one drawback: proximity mines.
...really hate those.
...but enough of me explaining. Fall een and absorb some bullet.
