Well, I drank the Kool Aid last night and joined the cool kids. Went to EBGames with 4 games in tow to trade een:

Modern Warfare 2
ODST
PGR4
Unreal Tournament

Dey tell meh ah woulda get bout $30 trade in value, so ah say, hold strain, lemmeh check BestBuy dey - dem gimmeh $41 towards Black Ops, bless. So ah end up gettin it fuh $21 with taxes etc.

D game decent, hell of a switch from Reach, buh jes hadda get back used to CoD controls, so all in a timin. My biggest problem right now is not knowin d layout of d maps, cuz ah get real mash up on some night time map last night dey, buh ah conducin meh story on d firing range one. Again, all in a timin.

Dred, as much as I never thought I'd say dis, PC gaming is jus about dead to me now. Only ting I looking forward to on PC right now is Diablo 3. Even though Blizzard is recruiting for a console developer for D3, PC is a definite must for that. But, and here's another thing I never thought I'd say, I'll continue to get my FPS fix on d 360.

Not cool at all.

Can you put your finger on why ur preference changed so drastically? Pretty much everyone I know knows to shoot me post haste if I ever pick up a controller in lieu of the beautiful PC.

I'd really like to know the signs so I can prepare for an exit when the end is near.

Dat is a good question breds...I guess it started off pretty innocently in that I wanted to play Halo 3, but it wasn't on d PC, so had to conduc d 360 scene, PC eh really have ah strong argument if it eh have d game ah wha play, right? So no scene, could still play every other game on d PC, but den ah end up pickin up MW2 on d 360 and ah not even sure how comes as ah look back now...but I think it all comes down to d community of friends you play wit eh, cuz if red, w1n, ago and dem fellas didn't pick up Black Ops on d 360, ah would still be conducin meh Reach right thru. Buh as dem playin d Black Ops dey, ah say well aight, ah go join d line.

Besides which, d day I started payin fuh Xbox Live, I decide one time I gettin meh money's worth from it, so dah mean ah playin any an everyting on it, every chance ah get. Every now an den ah does stop to play some PC games (Torchlight was my most recent), but only fuh a fraction of a second compared to d amount of time I spend on Live. Even when Diablo 3 drops, ah go still only really play it when everyone on meh Live list offline.

Times change, people change, techs change...wha ah go tell yuh boy.

Then I guess you'll never get to enjoy superb franchises like Killzone and Uncharted.
You really missing out boy Cap...but then, I came from a console-only 'background',
so I really can't relate.  Name ONE high-profile multiplatform release that the PC version
really sets itself apart from the console versions.

Playing an FPS with a controller isn't as disastrous as you think.
Remember how I was pwning at Flows World on Bad Company 2? (Xbox 360)

Personal preference I believe. Can you really say a console is less "fun" because the graphics not as hot or because it uses a controller? At the end of the day all that matters is that you have a bunch of friends playing and having a good time. That's why I still play games, really for the social aspect. Not really into campaigns anymore.

Well said ppl, in those immortal words: "Try it, yuh go like it" XD

That aside I couldn't help it:
Quote
For those with both consoles, the choice of where you spend the majority of your online gaming time must be factored into any purchasing decision - as was the case with Modern Warfare 2 before it. However, from a technical perspective, there's little doubt that the Xbox 360 offers the better experience: superior image definition, and a pleasingly smoother run of play.

Funny that.

Yeah no one disputes that it is better on 360 compared to PS3, the only reason why I still play games on PSN is because many of my friends on it.

That quote is highly debatable eh lol. It is well known that alot of lead development occurs on Xbox 360 with more or less a PS3 port. Worth noting games built on PS3 first whether multiplatform or exclusive deliver "superior image definition, and a pleasingly smoother run of play."

I think the statement is in reference to Black Ops, and after taking a second look at the comparison, 360 does look a bit more detailed. And well Live online is superior at an additional cost :p

Yes of course. Black Ops on PS3 doesn't look as good as the 360 version. It is also agreed that Xbox Live is superior to PSN as a premium service. Just pointing out that the statement isn't true for all games as you'd surely know :D

Which is why I bought both.  :happy0203:

I don't intend to miss any.

That said though, I think I'll buy the Xbox versions of Apache and HAWX 2.
Why?  because they look a whole lot better on the Xbox.

Lol well you know my story, I woulda never look at PS3 if I didn't have so many issues with multiple 360 consoles. While I understand that they are alot more reliable now it did indeed leave a bitter taste in my mouth. Perhaps when my PS3 eventually fails lol I'll come back.
