Who would have thought that the two most popular requests (Zombies & BETA) would be hinted at on the same day? There has been little information and news in the past few weeks and then this week has had a LOT of news. From a Multiplayer teaser, news on Collector editions, for Zombies and now a Beta!PejeXD » was messing around on the Bing search engine when he searched for "Call of Duty Black Ops Beta" and stumbled upon callofduty.com/beta ». It's clear that this is a Beta page on the official Call of Duty but has this always been there for previous Betas or has it only just appeared for a upcoming Black Ops Beta? The page when registering » on the official website also has another interesting hint for a Beta. The page says that as a member you will have clearance to "First-in-the-world access to REDEACTED -- you are not yet cleared for this information". Could this mean a Beta? The callofduty.com/beta » page now appears to redirect visitors to the Call of Duty homepage, either because this is a old page or because they noticed the page was getting views and thus giving away hints to a Black Ops Beta.Yet again, take this with a pinch of salt rather than a confirmation. You be the judge, does this confirm a Black Ops Beta or not?
Capcom actually interacts with their community much better than MOST developers. Pick another dev dey.
I have to tip my hat to Treyarch for really making a stellar effort to rescue this franchise. Here's a dev that is actually listening to its community for once. Capcom would do well to take some notes.
