Up to this very day I STILL can't believ that "Luke Skywalker's" voice was Joker and in 1994 The Hobgoblin...epic indeed

It sure as hell cannot beat the badness of The Dark Knight, Batman Begins or Batman Mask of the Phantasm...but it's just as tight Batman (1989 version), Batman Returns and the ORIGINAL (not the crap that they showed recently) 1992-1997 animated series...

Notice I omitted Batman Forever and Batman & Robin (Holy Crapamolee Batman)

I preferred Mask of the Phantasm, but then that's because i think Mark Hamill's voice work is perfect for the joker. Movie was quite enjoyable, loved the way Red Hood was portrayed, and i especially loved the fact that they showed Joker in the Red Hood digs, been tell folks about that for years and they never believed cuz they thought watching cartoons made them comic book fans..

WRT to the retardedly n00b comments about Disney and marvel.. I'm referring to the financial backing. Your points on punisher wielding an M4/paintball gun is unexpected as i think you are a bit too informed to make that blunder.. tell me something: you ever heard of Miramax studios or the kIll Bill franchise? cuz you may want to keep in mind that Miramax is owned by Disney as well.. and yes, they approved the decision to produce the Kill Bill movies

Main problem, was that it was too.. epic.. batman is not epic, Superman is  epic.
Batman should be gritty and dark .. not epic.

easily the best animated batman to date. This was like dark knight but without the sore throat.

Ending was a lil meh and the only thing saving it from a 10/10. Felt like they switched gears from movie mode and back to a regular Saturday morning cartoon in the last 5 minutes.

They went down a dark dark road....and could have followed through with that for the ending, but not complaining. It was epic enough as is.

Solid story, solid action. More entertaining than most movies I've seen for the year.

Ra's al ghul, always a plus.

A firm 9 Batarangs out of 10
