so i was actually gonna purchase this game today to ship with my CPU cooler then i saw the amt of 1 star reviews on amazon(407 to b exact) you think its worth it to buy still?

If you read through those 407 "reviews" you will realize those people have no idea

how to open or operate a browser or to install a game or heck even operate a computer

and the ones that do complained about origin in the earlies but that's all fixed now

and the rest are just CODies.....trying to justify why they wasted 60 dollars on MW2 with better graphics......

and i seriously doubt you want to be a member of that group....

i did read through the reviews and there seems to be a lot of privacy issues as well included in the agreement...playing through a browser seems iffy but i wouldn't mind it...what concerns me are the bugs that people were/are complaining about....all i honestly care about is the online aspect of it and how enjoyable it is compared to other shooters out there...IF i would get bored with it soon

You should still give it a "shot" pun intended. They've had a few patches to fix some of those issues. If you enjoyed previous bf games, you will enjoy it.

Battlefield 3 has its technical issues, I myself have experienced them.

But to be honest you would be hard pressed to find a better First Person Multiplayer based shooter, that encompasses, beautiful graphics, vehicles en masse, countless weaponry, and great teamplay. There is really nothing else out like it. It is the best online shooter out  period. (for pc)

Read ANY EULA and you'll see the same damn thing. Lol, biggest lie in the world "I have read the Terms and Conditions"  :happy0203:

The browser is actually is a neat concept once u get used to it. You can also get Battlelog apps on your phone to keep track of your stats, msg your friends and see who's playing so you could run home and play. Makes things a lot easier to manage rather than moving around the menus in game, which, would have probably been the same thing if it was built into the game.

In terms of gameplay aspect, after playing COD since the 1st one, I can't go back. BUT here's the draw back to BF3, if you play alone, you die alone. I know Limit, Ipix and Fraet have the game and some others from the Team Speak server play but not sure how often anymore. These guys here play all the time, u'll jus have to get acquainted with them. I warn you, do not play this game expecting a COD or any sort of COD experience, any other shooter for that matter. If you haven't played any BF games before, it'll take some gettin used to. Borrow an account from a friend, download it, play a little and see if you like it. That's my best suggestion.
