The beta is really to show of the game to the public in my mind

poor showing then if u ask me
ppl asked for certain fixes since BC1 and BC2, MoH and now BF3 and still no fixes
either
1. they dont care
2. retarded

and im not the only 1 who thinks that

I agree that its a very poor showing, at least to the Console gamers, who sadly to say, are the majority when it comes to sales. So double poor form by EA to have a broken Beta running on Consoles. PC gamers are all happy and pappy, but the ones who are in the majority that buy the game have to put up with the sub par excuse for a Beta. If thats what the public has to deal with, then thats not a good way to market the game at all at all. If the final console game does not have fixes in it from day one....I will return the game from whence it came.

I don't think EA is the one putting out the money.

I think that Guy who owns Virgin Atlantic has something to do with it.

For once, it pleases me to see the console crowd cry....
Seriously... it is freaking satisfying!

On a side note... EA still has not fixed the Euro price thing :S
I'm thinking to buy it on Gamersgate, has anyone purchased there?
Is it just a key that is used on Origin to redeem?

Thought it was just me alone who thought the console version was not really on par.

My qualms:

The f#$king constant saving is worse than BFBC2, I don't know how many times i have died because of this.

The removal of using select to view invites.

what is up with the server i can only post up to here

Ram is a problem there you should have at least 4 gb for win 7 64bit.

Reaper...you really are at a severe disadvantage running Win 7 64-bit with 2GB of RAM.
I thought all PC gamers were aware of this.  No wonder you're getting all those issues.

You have two choices to improve your performance:  2GB more RAM, or downgrade Win 7 to 32-bit.

Reaper.....the point is you need to get more than 2gb of ram to be running a 64bit version of windows 7 (and you running ultimate to boot) despite what anything is telling you about minimum specs.

32bit OS recognizes just about 3gb (plz correct me if I'm wrong)
64bit OS (Ultimate in your case) having 4gb is a must to have smooth operations...

Downloaded the PS3 beta to compare with PC.
LOL @ falling through the map as soon as I spawn in the first game.

Other than that though, the game ran surpisingly smooth.
Graphics pretty good for the console but not nearly as good as console exclusives. (Then again, the scale of the map could be the reason.)
It's a good PS3 title to get, but having experienced the PC version, I'll be skipping the PS3 version unless my friends on PSN get it.

@ doom BF was always meh on consoles nothing new here. its not meh from any graphical or gameplay standpoint mind u just meh at 2 key features which is why BF will never be bigger than cod.

@ App lol if u get it on ps3 good luck choosing 3 ppl worthy enough to play with u :P
as for me i just want confirmation if we would be able to grp and talk to other squads in retail so id know if to cancel that pre order

the thing that these PC guys dont get is if BF fails hard on console u might have an awfully long wait for a new BF game. Also if BF3 doesnt even come close to MW3 in sales and reviews then what? would look awfully dumb on EA/DICE's part for all the chest beatin and still not come close lol
