anyone else find it disappointing that they still havent shown/confirmed they fixed any of the console problems from their last 3 games which potentially will make or break their game yet we keep gettin more an more info on how the game looks , i think DICE needs to realise ppl already know the game looks pretty

The game releases next month and still nothing. Games that releasing next year already spilled the beans on what their mp features are. This lack of info from DICE is highly disappointing.
i don't mean to offend anyone and i hope no one reports me to the admins after this comment, we are all good buddies and comrades but Dice, BF PC gamers, don't really give a dam about the consoles, Dice themselves said that they really cannot do much with the console, so don't expect much...... and again please this is my view i do like console games and etc but it is pure facts that i am trying to bring across here!!

From what i understand, everything mentioned so far goes across the board, with the exception of 64 players and improved details for the PC. I'm curious as to why they haven't shown any Xbox 360 footage yet though. From what I've heard, the PS3 version looks and runs much more impressive on the build they had at PAX compared to the previous GamesCom build. What were the problems with the past games? (I'm on PC)

Blu_Vice's issues were always about the limited communication between squads, plus PSN does not have Party Chat, so you are limited to communication with your 3 other squad mates instead of the rest of your party which maybe 8 or 12...Dice hasn't addressed that I don't think and that was one of the main issues that Vice had. I also don't think they have an Xbox version working yet, which is disturbing, given that there is only 1 month left..I will be on PC and XBox 360 so its not bothering me so much, its just that I game with people on XBox Live and if this version sucks, then it would be very disappointing.
I also hope the lack of local dedicated servers doesn't affect the local PC side too much...

Hello... as a console owner myself, I'll be having none of that.  :laughing7:

Depending on how good the console versions turn out, I -might- buy those too.

no way.. because people with bluetooth headsets would make the experience very annoying.

Even the best quality bluetooth mics seem to transmit voice in much lower quality and clarity than traditional headset mics, so much so it is most times a bit difficult to hear what is being said.

i was now about to say the samething.. while it is a great idea.. the quality of most bluetooth headsets sucks @$$ this could be painful for not only the player but the entire squad

Yeah information for the console version should have been freely flowing by now, but not to harp on this point over and over, the console experience for this game is GOING to be sub-par. One really needs to get on the PC for the full effect.

only way its goin to be subpar is if dice mess up on the comms, party system and clan support......AGAIN like their previous 3 games.

while i would like more players it wont affect the experience much once the maps are scaled to suit, while that may seem like blasphemy to some of u i like action and once the map sizes provide plenty with the 24 im good to go. 32 would have been my ideal count but w/e other games coming in the future that have higher counts so no worries.

thankfully it seems 1 of the 3 concerns i have is addressed
http://mp1st.com/2011/09/05/bf3-new-voice-chat-system-and-no-more-mounted-hmgs/

now just need party system confirmation and actual clan support this time like BF2:MC
