Well played EA...allyuh ketch mih. :shakehead:

...and stop fooling yourselves...the MAIN reason we
pre-ordered MoH was for early access to the BF3 beta.

MoH itself wasn't that great.

It's funny you say more and more, I think we've all missed the boat if we think EITHER one is better than the other. Yal forget EA was the same company that was sued 'en MAS' by the spouses of ppl working there... death march etc.

http://news.cnet.com/Electronic-Arts-faces-overtime-lawsuit/2100-1043_3-5450316.html

Let's be real ppl, it's really only a matter of which games we like and willing to put up with rubbish over.

With the exception of myself of course. The BF3 beta was just a bonus. I bought it because i've played every single previous MoH game. Personally, i prefer MoH multiplayer over Crysis 2 but the Crysis 2 campaign over the MoH.  Those two had the potential to be great games.

Just a heads up that open beta news may not be real because EA/DICE have not said any thing. That EA forums thinks it will be open because they have not gotten beta keys as yet.

Shiv this http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/battlefield-3/ is the better forums to use

True, i didn't hear any official news from EA about the beta being open. I remember reading another post where someone said that the beta will be open to the public for the last week. All of that is probably speculation btw.

The only reason i posted is because Sorrow quoted that piece from a Q & A. I assume Mods would have credible sources....

If it was from a Q&A then everyone would of known, but it looks like the info came from EA Customer support which really knows not thing.

That's why i don't trust them EA forum mods

Heavy KY

Lexington style.

Only the gaming industry could continuously pull these types of shenanigans
and get away with it yes, and still retain willing buyers.

Nothing surprises me with these big publishers again.

If you like something now, is just to show up with your money in one hand,
and your KY in the other hand, and then just beg for an inch or two.  :laughing6:

I get the impression that BC2 on either of the consoles fell on its face, as far as Trinis went.

The PC contingent vastly outnumbered the console gamers.

Do you think that's going to be the same case for Battlefield 3?

Are we going to see a 100 man strong PC roster with the consoles struggling to make up a decent 10 - 20 players?

probably not, ull get the initial ppl playing till mw3 released and then itll slowly drop off, but then again i stopped caring about the trini ps3 console scene months ago since it really doesnt affect my playin, my concerns come from the party system and cross squad comms being limited

@ Notnice devs say alot of things , doesnt mean it ends up that way so excuse me if i dont hang on every word a dev says as "fact"

there is no doubt the PC BF3 will be amazing but after 3 games with the same problems i think its safe for me to have my doubts about DICE correcting them.

1. Map sizes
2. Cross squad comms
3. Party system bigger than 4 ppl

address those things and BF3 will be a winner on consoles

As of now, we are not going to make any modding tools,”

That means it might have modding tools in the future to come.

This is old news because in a good few interviews they said so

What was that link supposed to direct me to?

"There's a dive, but it comes with a hefty accuracy penalty, and it's far from instant/prone spamming. ANT fixes that."

"Who says it's not a Sniper? Recon is about being Sniper and Scout. More Scout tools than ever."

"There's an AT4 in the Faultline videos. It's more authentic than BC2, not guided IRL."

"Days like today when I have to make the same change to EVERY GUN in the game makes me sorry how many guns we have. It's lots."
