So why you referring to yourself in the 3rd person b?  :laughing7:

Now I have to wonder if Steam will have this as part of the Limited Edition pre-order bonus,
or, if this Physical Warfare pack will be available as a DLC purchase after the game launches.

Care to answer that 'Mr Battlefield'?

I dont know about allyuh, but I preordering to get the Karkland expansion for free. NB, preorder price is the same as when the game is out and is flowing through retail channels.

That said, part of the fun of the game is unlocking all the weapons  when they were meant to be unlocked. If a bonus of preordering is getting certain unlocks before hand, fine by me but i'm absolutely not paying extra for something that i'd get during the course of normal play anyway. That is ALMOST like buying a cheat. makes no bloody sense.

If people are willing to BUY into that, hard luck for them. Sorry to say that they are getting suckered out of a few dollars, extra pocket change for the fatcats at dice. I will have NONE of that tyvm.

How can i answer that if dice didn't answer that themselves ?

Most likely bf3 might not make in on steam but we can just hope it does.

BF3 not on steam? F**K that, i'll just wait for MW3 to come out on steam and play that instead.

Yeah, that's not gonna happen. If I even suspect that any other versions of Awesome in some other parallel universe even think about doing that, is inter universe slap ihmc.

Seriously though. EA wants to make as much money as humanly possible and steam is going to take a good chunk out of their pocket. Bad Company 2 was an unknown that became popular because of Steam. I've been made aware that loyalty counts for naught when it comes to business so EA doesnt care about that.

Battlefield 3 is already poised to take over mw3 in terms of popularity and sales (lets be real, even Sesame Street Once Upon a Monster will most likely a better game than mw3) and thus EA can do just what the hell they want. Just hope that they dont raise the price.

That's why it pays to not get too attached to any one service. Guys, Steam is just a means to an end. Origin and other digital download outlets, while lacking in features in comparison to steam, does the same damn thing. What, you and Valve digitally tied by the hip or something? If they lacking the biggest titles, maybe its time to look elsewhere. Steam is quickly becoming a repository for indie games with headline titles shifting from the likes of Battlefield to Terraria and Super Meat Boy. Exciting.

Only question now is should I preorder on Origin or go for boxed version...hmmm

Amazon has free release date delivery, meaning that it is being delivered to skybox on D - day!!

Boxed version, here I come.

Right now, this looking like EA taking out the KY and applying it thick. You know what comes next.

and what makes you say this?

Awesome has been brainwashed like Notnice yes...lol But seriously, this is a trend that may very well be happening in the industry in order to maximize profits, again, typical business. Game Houses and Producers like the giants EA and Activision are seeing that Steam was making money from their model and WHAM, time to cut the middle man out of the picture. Issue is, without Steam, the competition goes away, you are now forced to buy either the Physical Product or go to EA's site and buy from there, where they will most definitely be charging full price for as long as possible, unlike Steam and their bargain bin deals. Its all about the Benjamins people...
