I not even downloading no 10 GB movie... I have neither the time, nor the storage.  Is better I buy the damn blu-ray.   :/

A DVD-rip will do just fine.

berserk, the video quality is significantly improved as well, but if u dont have d equipment to take advatge of both d audio and video, I guess it would seem similar.

Arc, I do infact buy d blurays when I cant find fresco lol.

But in comparison, a 2tb HD is wash 80$? That's 40 bluray images, even when purchased d convince of rips for instant access is worth it for me.

Also, men in trini not running all kinda crazy speeds now?, ah 50gb digital does take like 15-20min to dl on my connection, I could gone crack d toilet and come back and it ready to go, then delete if I eh want.

To each his own d'oh, I can't watch crap quality again, ill stomach regular blurayrip for TV, but even those are truehd these days. Bought d Stargate Atlantis wah day it was. Waiting on d Star Trek TNGs to finish release.

I've actually pulled down 50 gig blu rays of some movies and compared them visually to the 5-10 gig rips. visually the difference was meager. Sound i would assume is where the real difference is.

And I'm pretty sure I got the hardware to see how it looks, maybe not the audio but definitely the display.

but moot point. free ting is free. some movies ill buy blu ray as well, this might be one.

Nah I know your gear, yUh dont have what needed to see d real diff between blurayrip and truehd, it even have certain hdmi cables that does reduce quality and introduce artifacts that easily visible when using high end gear.

If u play a bluray rip and a real bluray in imax I guarantee u will see the difference.

D audio difference easier to discern on lower gear though. For me, I does know a truehd from normal HD immediately, in both audio and video. Was watching over meh old breaking bad, and from d time gun shots fire I know it was truehd quality, checked d properties to confirm, and sure enough it was.

TrueHD content to me, is like HD content to SD. Once u have d gear, d difference is huge.

Isme setup is about.... id say 2 maybe 2.5 times better than Imax lol..

My audio is better than imax, sans bass (soon to be rectified) but my video could use work.

But even on my sub Imax screen, and on my speakers or headphones, truehd is readily visible/audible to my eyes and ears.

Is just like any media format.

The native bitrate is dramatically higher, all that missing bitrate is missing information in the file, what alyuh think in that information?

Is like men watching me and telling me MP3 no different to a flac file lol. Once u talking bout that kinda compression, there is data missing, data in the form of audio and visual quality that can be seen and heard once u have d gear.

Don't have to be Imax grade one time, but obviously ah Logitech z5500 and ah shit 30-50" LCD ain't gonna cut it.

On that kinda gear d difference will appear "merger", but the question is, why not? With d speed of internet now, u can pull and delete easy, and how cheap storage is u can keep if u want, if there is a better quality fresco I can have in 20 minutes why not? Lol.

I watched this movie AGAIN but this time in Blu Ray and JAHCHRISTBOI.. epic :happy0203:

but three questions are raised though.
1) why did critics prefer Iron Man 3 to this?
2) why did the OST receive such a mixed critical review?
3) why the hell didn't this movie make over 1 billion?!?!

I know everyone has a right to their opinion but still...

I heard rel good things about the OST track, on my head-fi podcasts and forums etc, apparently they did some nifty things with this track, so I go the lossless version for testing. Haven't quite got around to it, but i will soon.

2) As Wyatt and Q said OST was bess  Hans Zimmer ftw
3) Worldwide Gross was $662,845,518 so pretty close

Each critic judges a movie based on their own predefined specs. of what makes a good movie to them hence why I always tell ppl make up their own mind.

After a hard day I find myself listening to "What Are You Going To Do When You Are Not Saving The World"
