Well these recent intervews will have to suffice, filming is starting next week as planned so the delay seems more likely because of competition (was due to open around same time as The Hobbit, can't have that)

SDCC 2011 EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Henry Cavill Talks 'Superman: Man of Steel'

http://www.mtv.com/videos/movies/675594/henry-cavill-reacts-to-superman-delay.jhtml#id=1667658

http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/6of13/news/?a=42788

Quote
Henry, what was the physical training like, to prepare for this, and how did it get you ready to play Superman?

Henry Cavill: "The physical training was extensive and exhausting. I think I was doing 9 to 5, at one stage, with the training. You certainly learn a lot, when you go through that process once. You learn about how to do it more efficiently the second time. Although I’ve had a trainer both times, it’s a very different kind of thing for this next job (Superman). For example, I’m 25 pounds heavier now than I was in Immortals. That is enough said, really. It’s prepared me, mentally. When you have that negotiation, when you’re training and you get to that rep which is difficult, and you know you’ve got 10 more reps to go in that one set, and another five sets after that, and you say, 'I don’t really have to do this. I can do something else. If I just put the weights down and have a bit more rest, it will be fine.' It teaches you how to negotiate and win the negotiation, and how to notice the lie in your head, which is, 'Oh, it hurts it’s dangerous,' as opposed to, 'Yeah, it hurts, but that’s good.' As my new trainer says, it doesn’t have to be fun to be fun. That’s very telling."

Heck once the suit isn't rubber we'll be fine, he looks ripped up even through his shirt. The guy is very humble, easy to see why he was chosen.

Apparently Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) is Perry White. This movie has an interesting cast.

http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/MarvelFreshman/news/?a=43507

Quote
The folks from Entertainment Weekly, as well other reliable sources, are reporting that Oscar-nominated actor Laurence Fishburne is rounding out the star-studded cast of Zack Snyder's 'Superman' reboot, Man Of Steel. Filling in the shoes of Daily Planet editor-in-chief, Perry White, the site states verbatim:

Lois Lane and Clark Kent just got their boss: Laurence Fishburne will play Daily Planet editor-in-chief Perry White in Man of Steel, EW has learned exclusively. White has traditionally been a hard-charging, old fashioned newspaperman, who relies on his ace reporters, Clark and Lois, to get the big scoop.

Me likey.

Love the material for the cape.

Well it's just a promo image so they can fix his hair anytime, also notice he is bigger than Routh was.

Interestingly the area where the shorts would be are dark, good tease. I wonder if it's there tho.

That pic with the curl was from Comic con so its not an official Clark Kent pic plus the Superman pic is just a promo pic as filming hasn't started yet so his look may be adjusted slightly.

It looks good the only thing the S is too big

they should've used the S from superman returns

hair is fine no side part doesn't need any curl imo....

Yes I know I never said it was Clark I said u can see a difference in personas when he is in costume than when he is his original self. Should've been more specific.

Filming is underway too.

Also the pic they used was desaturated, when u fix that it should look like this:

Clearest pic we have of the suit yet. Via the unofficial Man Of Steel fan page on FB.

The cape is obviously off due to an intermission or something (see velcro on his neck).

Pros: Darker blue and no red jockeys.

Cons: Such a clear shot of his junk reminds me of Dr Mahattan (*shudders...* Ew.) and STILL no flippin S-curl. WAIZDAWUN?

the suit is good  and is look is great

and well the curl for me is neither here nor there

one discrepancy is the belt they didn't need to have it there

cause it serves no purpose
