Hi can someone help me please. I am getting a 2mth old GSD pup. It is a pure gsd but dosent have any papers. I am having 2 breeder friends of mine take a look at him befor i get him. So far one of them has given him the ok. the owner of the father is a friend of my breeder friend and will be coming to train my dog. He gave us some examples of his work and it was quite good. Even let me take his begum shepherd and one of his pits for a walk. the BS was a doll when i walked him but when he and my friend put on a show of his grading and obedience i was very impressed
I want to know if a black gsd can enter a show if he has no pedigree papers. And how can i get info on dog events like shows and trials? The only gsd web site i found for tnt is WAY outdated with the latest event taking place in 2008. I dubt they will let a dog without papers in though. What i would realy like is after hes trained to enter him in some Shutzhund trials. Does having papers weigh heavily there?
I plan on getting a pure breed with papers later on in the year so if you know any reputable breeders with dogs of show quality for a good price let me know!
