Kamla for Leader
« on: January 24, 2010, 10:48:46 PM »
The results are in, Kamla has won the election. Congratulations to her.

They say the only constant in the world is change.

If January is any indication, things are about to get very interesting in 2010!

i don't really understand how ppl think because the leader of a party change the whole ideals of that party is going to, ppl need to remember they were the same ones who kept quite or participate while the scandal was going. So what really going and change, same wolf different clothing????

Are you saying then that eric william's pnm is the same as manning's pnm?
I think the votes spoke loudly sunday. The unc that voted landslide panday is now voting landslide kamla.

The winds of change are blowing in the party.

The old school mantra of war and hate being replaced by love and unity.

Question, is Trinidad ready for a female prime minisiter again? (She acted as pm once before, lol)

Tune hard yes, but this is only the first baby step. I just glad that ppl expressed some common sense but no things aren't gonna magically change because a different person is elected. There are too many persons who change their stance like how the weather suddenly changes that populate leadership roles in the party....

Just have to hope for the best for the while.

Lol, suspicious bout Jack in general.

One thing for sure, kamla's different. Jack is different.

Any number could play and that is what should have the pnm concerned.

Both kamla and jack are "cop" friendly from all accounts.

Might we see another coallition?

There was a comment made about COP, implying they handed Manning the election, let's get something straight, the 20% (which isn't an INsignificant %) that voted COP + the UNC vote would NOT have won them the election so if that's where you were going try again. Secondly, the fact that 20% of the VOTING populace voted COP speaks VOLUMES of the desire for CHANGE that ppl want, sadly that same 20% is NOT a concentrated 20% but rather spread ALL over T&T. Dare I say INTELLIGENT or EDUCATED ppl did NOT vote for the same OLD regimes that have been bickering and sneering at each other using RACE as a weapon of opinion sway. I make no apologies for COP NOT having a charismatic leader OR a leader that has resorted to legal voter padding over the many years that their votes and BOUGHT AND PAID for YEARS to come.

I am glad Kamla has won as the silver fox is too senile to realize is irrelevant and the other SNAKE is exactly that. Just as a zebra/tiger cannot change its stripes, neither can a snake change its reptilian ways. I hope this breathes new life into the UNC because the PNM with it's majority seats and capitalistic/socialistic way of selling out the country needs REAL competition and neither of the OLD goats that currently LEAD or wished to LEAD AGAIN this nation are fit.

Too bad we can't do like policitians are pets, when they sick, old or just plain costing too much you put them down.

Anyone who thinks that all COP members would have voted UNC had COP not been around is foolish. Don't fall prey to that stupid line of thinking that the older politicians would have you think is fact.

I wonder what all those COP members would vote if there is a UNC 2.0 - COP Coalition?

Jack is definitely old school, throws his $$ around. A real wild card but interesting times ahead no doubt.

How badly do people want change? That will be the million dollar question.
