Yeah, going 3D nex month when the ASUS VG278H monitor gets released.
(yes i have seen consumer 3D in action and I love it. Besides, 120Hz refresh rate on a monitor is sweet as well for gaming, since i hate tearing)

Not a bad improvement though, impressive.

You're brave to OC on a laptop though. With restricted air flow and what not.

lol yea. I was very hesitant to do this.
Got a nice cooling pad to go with it and gpu temps stayed under 75c.
Downclocked back to stock though... Not me and that lol.

As for CPU clocking. Might venture down that road in the future.
I might be able to pass Syncrod then

Well look who come over to the dark side of benchmarking muhahahaha.

I dont think a better CPU will net him much real gains in real world gaming but definitely it will boost his 3dmark score.

Another GPU in that system should be well fed by a cpu of that speed!! hint hint!!

So, i did a small new OC, since i realised that I was bottle-necking my 580s.
My new Daily OC is this 3.66Ghz.
Here is the new Vantage score. (was unable to submit online for some reason)

May I ask what CPU cooler you're using...and your temps (idle/load) at that speed?

The reason I ask is that with the Silver Arrow, I can maintain a 24/7 OC at 4 GHz, but that's with HT off.
With HT on however, I have to use too much voltage, but those D0-stepping CPUs seem to be a lot more power-efficient.

I use a H50, my idle temps are about 45C and peaks at 64C. This is with HT on. (i have AC in my room now though...)

Hmmm... seems like you might need a beefier cooler so you can get that CPU to really strut its stuff. H100 FTW.

Impressive score nonetheless.
