Ok been playing this since release.

Game has surpassed my expectations heavily. Combat is similar to Batman Arkham City, but feels more brutal, and satisfying, (environmental kills ftw),I could safely say this is the best martial arts done in a single player game ever.Period. Not even joking about that.


 Driving is not as great as say GTA IV, but it isnt bad either, gives u a wicked feeling of speed, and I prefer the motorcycle handling and racing in this to GTA.

The Open world feels pretty authentic, althogh not offcially based on anywhere in China, the usage of the language, the ambiance, backdrops etc, really draws you in.

The story (so far) has really impressed me, again I wasn't expecting that much detail in this game, but Square really put their heart into this and it shows. Without spoiling it, the game has superb voice acting, and the characters are fleshed out well. Really enjoying the story, and hoping it maintains my interest.

Visually (on PC) this game is gorgeous, the lighting especially at night is a sight to behold. My only frame of reference for this type of game visually is GTA IV and Sleeping Dogs blows that away.

And to put this in perspective. This game uses the Grand Theft Formula but improves on it. I've Beaten Grand Theft Auto 4 Episodes of Liberty City  recently, which was lauded as the best of the recent GTA franchise. (The Ballad of Gay Tony at least) and as fun as that was, this trumps it. Easily.

And after beating it, my opinion stands. This was entertainment oui. Ending was perfect. Best game for me this year.

Just got into in on Monday. Incredibly fun. So fun that Im doing EVERYTHING in the game.

I thought it was too short. Other than that, absolutely no complaints about anything else. Gameplay was perfect, graphics were excellent, the combat was probably one of the best experiences I have had in a game in recent time. If not for the length, I would have given it 9.5 but I guess 8.5 is where its at. But its a must play.

scene ulti. you guys are right it is sick.. I'll probably take mercs advice and get the dlc inna timin... but the ending was brutal and tragic... remnds me of Heat (michael mann film) or The Killer (John Woo film)
and the scene when the protagonist was driving and you were recollecting all the flashbacks in high speed... ways epic game fellaz... EPIC!
