The environment reminds me alot of the original sands of time while the character design seems to be in line with warrior within both with a graphical upgrade of course. The new cobblestone wall climbing looks good and all in all the gameplay seems to be what I would have expected.

Now for the bad side. I don't like the fight animation of the prince. Let's hope that he develops more interesting / flamboyant maneuvers as the game progresses because he seems to have lost some agility in his old age. The battle mechanics of the earlier games were my favourite part so looking out to see more of that later on.

All in all I welcome the game and look forward to when I can have it in my hands for a full review.

Shots in stereo. The AIDS man cometh!

I personally loved the gameplay of the original sands of time. There were some nice combos.

This one just looks like more of the same which isnt necessarily a bad thing.

It looks pretty good except the combat does look a bit stiff. A freeflow combat system like in Arkham Asylum would be great here.

Actually looking back at it, not really that bad just the combat looks iffy. Well this is an early level in the game so it is possible the prince will pick up new moves and abilities as the game progresses XD
