Its unfortunate that this game is being compared to Call Of Duty so much in just about EVERY review. Has the bar really been set so high by the CoD franchise that every other military-themed
FPS game is a 'by-the-numbers' affair? The general gist I got from this review, and so many others, is that while this game is 'OK', its just not as great as Call Of Duty, and should only be regarded as a stop-gap experience
until the next CoD.

Unfortunately, that means that it will be abandoned when Black Ops is released.

To each his own. I am not taking on any review/personal opinion until I play it for myself and can form my own.

That said, I do agree that there are some drawbacks, not least of which is that there are only 8 maps in multiplayer. Unfortunately, given dice's track record, we wont be seeing any new maps anytime soon and those 8 will get stale MUCH quicker than bad company 2's maps.

Taking this alone into consideration, I can clearly see why some are looking at MOH as a stop gap for Black Ops, not because one is better than the other. Absolutely no comparison to COD...yet. Luckily, I am fortunate enough to have played all of them so I can formulate my own comparison.

Btw, for those that bought MOH on steam, it is now released. Start your engines gentlemen. SUHWEATTT LATERRRR!!!!

strange, because I had more fun with BC2 online than cod.

but after the way they rough us up with the maps, I dunno.

Played it last night, Arc fell in for some action and it was BESSSS. The maps ive played so far, well the ones that were not in any of the betas are nice.

FPS fans, (not qualifying that futher by specifying any particular franchise) should love this.

i just acquired it the single play story was good had fun playing it, the only thing that was lacking was weapon variety and the ability to enable smooth mouse(really flicking annoying when your mouse is jumping all over the screen)

this on consoles at least PS3 sucks right now
only 4 person parties just like bc2 that is a deal breaker right there
100 friends and ppl hadda chose the 3 they wanna invite
and from what i hearing the lag is horrible right now and snipin a bit too easy

oh and no private match options
