PC gamers, unless you've been hiding under a rock with earplugs on over the weekend, you'll know the fiasco of EPIC proportions that has erupted from IW's decision to not have dedicated server and mod support.

Simple question to all you pc gamers. Are you going to buy MW2, knowing what you know now?

This poll is specifically geared towards PC users, however it might be a good idea to get a feel if this move is enough to make hardcore PC men make the switch.

I am wondering though, if their match making service will be something like the way matches in dow2 ranked matches take place.

That aside, I was hoping you'd put that option so we can get a guage of how many console MW2 players there are on GATT vs. the PC without having its own thread.

I will only get it for the SP an hopefully hold onto it till IW gets their heads out of their arses an bring back the Dedicated Servers and Mod support.

No its not, I have it, honestly nothing spectacular (though I'm on console so perhaps teh PC experience is better) however I doubt.

I just find it amazing, that the game is not even out yet, but there is so much uproar about it already and plans to boycott and so forth...whatever happened to waiting for reviews after the release of the game... :S

And signing online petitions are really going to change IW's mind about what they've spent so much time developing and implementing? Really now? Accept reality and move on, bitching and moaning about it isn't going to change the business decision that they've made about their game. PC gamers are sounding like a bunch of cry babies over their spilt milk AKA no dedicated servers or mods...BOOHOO...its a game. Either you buy it or not, its up to you.

BUT accept it and move on, is even more garbage.
I myself abhor anal rapage, and will NOT accept it and move on.

No anal rapage for me, and I will champion the cause of speaking out on forced anal rapage.

and if the console equivalent was happening, there be lots of bitching from the console camp.. except we wouldnt see it online.. cause you know... cant type with your liddle controllers

Ummm, no, if you haven't noticed, console gamers usually have little gripes because we are used to paying for our games and playing online on Live or PSN which are already dedicated serverless and insulting the majority of gamers AKA console gamers isn't going to make things better either. You will take IW's anal rapage because there is nothing you can do to stop them..They bringing it BIG and VEINY! LOL

as a PC gamer, I am part of gaming's most elite. So no, we do not just sit infront of tvs and idly accept the veiny sandy rapage traditionally handed down to console gamers.

I wont be purchasing this game and could not recommend it to anyone.
Iam glad people like ghandi and MLK and Eric Williams werent console gamers.. we'd still be taking lixhsss an likin it.

Cap'n...you should have included a 'wait and see' option, which is the stance I have adopted
right now. As I said before, if IW.net turns out to be full of win, I shall buy two copies and

it sounds really very much like dow2's ranked match making service which ive grown to appreciate as being quite good, but i cannot say i think its a good idea for a fps of this caliber.

Too bad the money from the pockets of the elite doesn't seem to mean much to the developer like the console version seems to.

11 Million Legit copies sold on console vs the same amount in pirated copies on PC would do that to you.

Its good to be well rounded with PC & Console if you can afford it.

I'll be getting it for PC just not right away. I still have that controller hurdle to overcome. Guess I'll be buying that Tekken game that I hate.

But Crixx, you can't be that "Elite" if you sitting in front your PC Monitor and getting it BIG, VEINY and SANDY as you added...why not make a trip to IW's headquarters and camp outside their offices and see if they don't just pass you by or have you escorted from the property...point I originally made was reinforced by Arcman when he said WAIT AND SEE. No need to start flaming on Console gamers because IW raping the PC gamers man...sheesh. As i stated before, I support PC gamers on this issue, but WAIT and SEE what the game is like when it releases instead of burning it at the stake before it even show up to the camp fire party...It would be rather embarrassing if the same people who flamed the game before release end up running to buy it if it turns out to be UBER in the end...Patience is a virtue dude.

PC gamers in general will not do that.
