SONY XPERIA PROBLEM

I have a X1 but when ever I plug it in via usb I can't get into the windows folder meaning the windows folder is invisible in usb mode, but when I unplug it, the folder is there. I think this is some kind of security restriction, how can i bypass this.

I don't think anyone else has this device, or else you would have gotten a flurry of responses by now.

Google is really your best bet on this one. 

I am pretty sure its a setting on the device preventing you from seeing a 'mass storage device' when you plug it in.  Check your USB settings on the phone itself.  Not all phones act as a flash drive by default when you plug em into a PC.  Sometimes you have to modify that setting.

wait iz it the "Windows" folder or the phone's drive?

If its the drive try different drivers....i've messed with alot of phones that act up like that and uninstalling(via device manager) and reinstalling used to work.

chk Sony's site for updated drivers uninstall the current software sync progs included ... reinstall new drivers then re install sync software it shld come up... never had this prob with my diamond tho ..... :icon_scratch: ... hope this works ... i'm guessing the windows folder you talking abt is with the program files and settings ?
