just upgraded htpc from XP SP3. got it for $14.99 too. works fine so far, still to test out the media playing, windows media center is free for awhile too.

^^ Nice.And the clovertrail chipset caught my eye. becuase it gives the batterylife and always on nature of ARM chips, but able to run x86 apps also. I'm really interested in how it performs. So be sure to post your findings.

I bought two copies just because its so cheap. I installed one on my laptop but I'm not going to install Windows 8 on my main desktop until a need arises.Also anyone get java 64bit to work in Windows 8? I can only get the 32bit version to run
To get the $15 price all you have to do is install any version of windows and run the upgrade assistant? Are there any other steps?
