yeah, definitely a decent entry into the "fighting movie" club.
I was a bit worried when I saw Kimbo Slice in the credits for this direct to DVD effort.
MMA flicks are popping up all over the place, using recognizable prize fighters in the cast. It's like a return to the 80s. Unfortunately, most have been less than stellar, despite their "star power".
Thankfully, Blood and Bone does not suck.
(For one that does...see "Never Surrender" by Hector Echavarria. He managed to scrape the bottom of the barrel and in so doing created a new genre, Fight Porn. Still shocked that he was able to take a ton of MMA super stars along for the ride.

Back to Blood and Bone. There are no surprises. Plot is thin and flimsy but the punches weren't.
That's all you need for a Jai White expose anyway. The man is like the black chuck norris. lol Hard lashes galore.
Not much else going on but who cares. Check your intellect at the door and get ready for a beating bonanza.
