A welcomed change. I tracking this game since march, and boy am i excited. Undercover is the first NFS game that i en finish since underground, that is how bad it was for me. So this is definitely a great direction for the series.

Honestly im just wondering what is going on

I spoke to my friend about it (Directior and CEO of EA Singapore) who is spearheading this. Honestly I am worried about them pushing the road/track style to compete with Forza 3 and GT especially in the same quarter. Not to say I dont like it, I am interested to see what they will do. It's looking like GRiD, which is great, its a NFS reboot, so its changing its roots.

as for the more recent series I haven't seen a good NFS since the first Underground. Most wanted was..okay.

Well the screens look great and tipping it towards a simulator isn't altogether bad. One thing to note shiv, the original link to ign is the PC version. That being said, there aren't many good track racing simulators on the PC nowadays save grid... so another option is a welcome change.

really? play PC games much? There are A LOT of good track racing sims on the PC. they mightn't be as popular as GRID, but there are many more good ones on PC than there are on consoles. anyway, i'm in the process of 'getting' the PC version of this game. lookin forward to playing it later.

WEll to be frank, NO I don't play much games on the PC anymore and I surely don't see much big titles that are of GT or Forza or Grid calibre, so how bout you put that bark to good use and trumpet good SIMULATION racing games on the PC and provide links for such less your post 'get lost'

OK. Installed it and played it. My verdict? It's HARD AS HELL!!!!! OMFG!!!! I guarantee that everyone who plays the game for the first time will say the same thing, "but why de hell I skatin' so jed?". The physics are very realistic. A lot more than GRID's. Taking a corner at anything faster than 40mph will send you spinning. I guess I'll get used to it but so far, kinda missing the old NFS gameplay. Might be more fun with a wheel or even gameplay though.

Well i just dragged myself away from ONE OF THE MOST AWESOME RACING EXPERIENCES EVER ON PC. Like rage say, meh first race, i waz like WTH!!! But den i get to set it up to manual and take off all dat help and thing and dread, it waz BAD!!! You see d graphics dread! Remarkable. And d tires screechin when you goin round corners.

Dis is d first NFS since MW that i wouldn't mind spending cash on. And dat is alot coming from king P.

Men doh listen, so much for getting links. Since yall are so into console racing please do create a thread to highlight the various games so that we can increase its popularity and make it more widely known. I've never seen a single ad (not that I notice much ads but still) for ANY of those games you posted. Getting great sims for the PC is welcome to me so do provide threads to such.

On the other hand you could just not and it'll stay right there under the 'little know' PC racing titles.

It's not 'that hard' its that if you are enthusiastic about something, in this instance PC racing games, then why aren't you sharing it with the larger gaming community? that site you provided is excellent towards this end, and I believe it should have it own thread!. That being said, I am NOT that big into racing games much anymore BUT if I were i'd be posting these titles ongoing. NONE of those games mentioned ring ANY bells, NONE of those games i've EVER SEEN on a review site for hardware.

Why is it that EVERYONE+dog knows what crysis or Farcry 2 is? WHY does world+dog know bout games like Bioshock and Gears of War? Because they are well advertised and EVERYONE sings them praises. I for one appreciate ppl telling me what are good titles from personal experience, linking sites and videos. Men giving out chakra but noone posting links to promote these games AND to top it off, everyone priating. If you like a game, genuinely you should BUY IT. I buy games that I like PC or otherwise cause that promotes the developers or rather it adds to their bottom line.

So to stop hijacking this thread, ppl feel free and by that I mean I ENCOURAGE ppl to post of game titles that are rare gems, addictive or just plain outright AWESOME so that the gaming community casual and otherwise can partake.
