That pretty much sums up Prometheus lol.

What i liked this most about this movie is that it still leaves a large chunk to speculation. That's what a good sci-fi, even sci-fi/fantasy does, generate various scenarios and has the movie-goer piecing together his or her own version of events.

When I saw the movie a week or so ago I had a lot of questions and theories and that is the most well thought out analysis of Promethus I've come across so far...

Ridley Scott is a boss yes.  THIS is how you do sci-fi.   I wasn't disappointed in the slightest.

Now the agonizing wait begins for part 2 of 3.

That certainly falls right in with what avatar posted above, the fear/escape of death that the engineers accept and the first humans to reach them cannot.

Good find for both, makes the movie seem even better post-viewing.

Just saw this one and absolutely loved it. I can understand why some people didn't like. It was a bit slow to start, but the story had me hooked throughout. Now it's time to read those articles you guys posted. lol

This was a brilliant brilliant piece of sci fi.

Loved every second. Didn't want it to end.

Firm 10 crashed alien spaceships out of 10

Bummed that it asked more questions than answered. Would have been a golden opportunity to tackle the meaning of life.

Maybe that was a good thing, as I'm sure any answer the writer came up with would have led to an imploding of the internet with views and counter views, lol

Just took this in. Gotta say not enough stories of this caliber out there.

Actually I'm hard pressed to remember anything that grabbed my attention to this level in recent times.

Like all movies there are some series deus ex machina... but all in all this was a very good scifi movie
