Have been following this for awhile and thought Id try the latest build...

and I must say im quite impressed, tested God of war and Kingdom hearts, with an average of 40 fps...

tried it with 2 games so far...

Kingdom hearts is perfectly emulated and God of War has an audio issue...but otherwise works decent enough

been using it for months now. so far, i've played Final Fantasy X and X-2, Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, Okami, Star Oceans 3, all Naruto fighting games, God of War, DBZ Tenkaichi 3, Shadow of the Colossus, WWE 2009 and Tales of the Abyss with no probs. others like Tekken 5, God of War 2, Shadow of Rome and Marvel vs Capcom 2 play horribly though. you need a REALLY POWERFUL SYSTEM to play them. a 3Ghz quad with a high end GPU is required for decent frame rates. oh, there's also a Gamecube and Wii emulator out too......just so u kno.

hmm i actually gave up on that emulator, never tried it again. will look out for that gamecube emulator though, could take on sweating a mario kart jed!

I use it to play KOF2002 UM & recently used it to play grandia 3 without issues.

thanks to Rage and some google/youtube fu, i got god of war runnin at 60 fps, in an intense boss battle and water effects all around...even looks great.

next up to try metal gear 3

the PCSX2 version on the official website is old. go to the above link for latest versions of all emulators and plugins. and Dolphin is the Wii emu. playin Smash Bros Melee and Brawl on it. Tatsunoko vs Capcom playable, but runs at around 20-30fps. 1 thing i hate is the fact that the emulators get updated every couple days or so. kinda annoying to download a newer version of the software every other day.

Weird...I can configure my controller using any of the plugins, and the game starts and runs properly,
but it won't recognise any controller input.

Steups...later for that yes.

tried the gamecube/wii emulator, Dolphin, it runs smash brothers perfectly, and works with the 360 controller like a charm. Will try the ps2 emu again, always wanted to play GOW.

Finally figured out what was wrong. Apparently it was my GAMES that weren't compatible.
I foolishly assumed that all my games would work...THEN I happened to glance at a compatibility
chart.

Talk about disappointment.

Oh well...I guess the PS3's good for something.

As for those using the GC emu, you simply MUST let me know if Rogue Squadron II/III works.
I simply MUST KNOW!!!

haven't seen Rogue Squadron on the list. guess it doesn't work. and for those who'd like to know the proper settings to make their games run well, just search youtube. must ppl post vids of the emu running a game with the settings they used in the description.

omg, emu has come a long way since zelda 64.

VERY IMPRESSIVE.

I'll have to give these a whirl when on vacation. If it's one thing I remember, emu call for an insane amount of tweaking. Spend almost as much time tweaking the emu as playing the games. lol
