Spent the day doing some mods on my trusty old Antec 900. I say the old girl has some life in her yet!

Naturally, I took some before and after pics.

Cut some holes to run cables through, flipped the psu and cut the needed hole for air intake. PSU now draws in cool air from under the case instead of hot air from inside the case, cut the backplate for access to the rear side of mount for CPU cooler w/o having to remove he entire board, painted in matte black for neater finish.

Awesome that is a real good work they man.. but only spoil children like u can do that to ur case. I give u a 9/10 I deduct one point becaue of the drawing LOL..It looked real "special"

that's a cool mod, that's how the original Antec 900 should have been yes. How does the back look, did you get to put on the right side panel with ease? or you had to use some extrta force lol

I would strongly recommend powder coating....

Then again, I still owe y'all pics of my powder coated case. That will happen today.

Philo, for real @ how it should have been originally. I got the side panel on with a little bit of force, no real distinguishable belly...

Not sure how well that pic represents it but looks like I flattened the cables sufficiently as to not cause a belly.

Sax, powder coat? I am unfamiliar with that technique.

yup did almost the same mod to my 900... and i think there is a V2 of the 900 with the cable holes already.
