You would think so eh? Couple weeks back the AC broke down so the place was sweltering. Temps only went up by 3 degrees on the cpu and even less than that on the gpu so I know it can handle the stories, even w/o AC. Of course, this is all when the side panel is off eh since it won't close with this cooler installed.

I've used it since the Socket A days, so it's been around. It's one of those Super Power cases you used to get back in the day that were cheap and available locally but still had some weight and sturdiness to it, unlike the paper thin, weak woble excuses that pass for cases we have now. And yes, the stickers HAVE accumulated over the years. You wouldn't like to see the front, where almost every available stickerable place has been filled. Im considering a liquid cooling setup for future builds, so I just might have to change, but for now, it's doing its job.

As for the secondary video card, its consistently 2 degreees warmer than the primary. There IS a difference, just not compelling enough to be a worrysome one.

yups cm690, i doh like the paint on it AT ALL. but the fan placement options, cable mngmt and size for a middy overshadow that fact easily.

i even McGuyver'ed an extra fan to the front using nothing but the excess case panels.

the extra hdd under the rom is the floppy bracket too.

yeah allyuh go collect better pics when I-man home no probs will take a pick of the back of the right panel so you can see how much cables behind there. its a tight fit but the cables are very sturdy

The new case I plan to build going to have 2CM space between the right panel and the mobo tray JUST for cable management.

Main reason i sold my antec 900 is cuz of the lack of cable management in the damn ting :(

Getting a Thermaltake Armor from CMR weekend so i go transfer my parts into that and take some new photos, supposed to be getting a new CC cooler next mth but i go hook up the LCS to this sytem in the meantime yes.

And yes the case Nephilim has is a CM 690, have one new myself, dunno what go put in that nah.

Interesting, seems like everbody goin core contact :P

I'm pretty glad with my CM but yea the paint job isn't the best on the case....

I shoulda also take a pick showing the right panel off.

Talk bout movin cables here and there and twisting bout to make the cover go back on boy, not too tight a fit and it works.

I studying to fit a fan infront by the empty drive bays with cable ties too yes.

I even contemplating cutting that hole by the PSU bigger, since it barely handling the cables from the corsair and I don't like having wires too squeezed up.

it wasn't a problem for me, the flat cables work nicely, and being modular comes in handy, also you could try feeding ALL the cables through before seating the PSU in, thats what i had to do. as long as the wires can move individually in the bunch you safe, i.e. you pull one and only that move you ok, if not it too tight if you wanna get hardcore you can even calculate the twist you need on the bunch to reduce the EMI from the cables. HxC! I also feed my front panel cables there and with my old giga the sata cables.

http://www.petrastechshop.com/cawimo.html - you may need some of these if you plan to go emo on the case

also you can take the top and back fan cables and route them through the hole at the top (where the 8pin comming from)

I hear you, yea I did take out the power supply to get all the cables through but I think the hole in the CM 690 may be a lil bit bigger or has better placement.

Small thing man I is d only one watching inside the case so what it have they will do lol

those flat cables, and the orientation of the drives play a HUGE role in cable management, i can see how some people would get hell to close the right panel with round cables.

Nice nice fellas, almost had an OH Sh!t moment this evening fiddling with cables in the back, when I realized the power plug to the mobo was not seated properly.......almost had a heart attack when the power light was just flickering on and off lol
