Well done on the cable mgmt. The only thing is that you could try running the 12v cpu connector more in the back left corner behind the video card etc to make it less obtrusive.

Otherwise, wayyyyy @ room in da case. Well done.

Well is behind the video card I meant, through that little space in the corner between the card and the board. From the looks of it, the cord plenty long enough and u just might be able to do it without removing the card.

People, my latest aquisition, the lovely Compaq Presario CQ61-420US.

2.1Ghz Athlon II
3gb (now 4gb ddr2)
Mobility Radeon 4200
15.2" HD LCD
Full keyboard WITH number pad
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit  preinstalled


All this for $3000 flush landed. Memory prices are high atm so that upgrade to 4gb cost me a little more than I wanted it to

Im in the process of removing bloatware etc, will run a couple banchmarks when im done.

Of course, if anyone likes it im willing to part with it for a small fee  :happy0203:

not really a system..jus a lil ting to hold out till i sort plans out. bought the board today really.

gtx 280...BGF OC and eVGA SSC

gtx 295 co op

ati hd 4870x2 2gb

also got an intel e8400 catchin dust... might get a p35 board and hit that 4ghz on air for some fun later!

still figuring out wats up really
scrapped the HAF system to do some moding on the case size panel

as well as lookin to order in a i7 930...water cooling..and the HAF X


securing another gtx 295 soon

will post benchmarks wen i am done

in the pic there is a p33 msi board and a athlon2 240.. did a vantage test for kicks and got just a little over 18k + on completely stock everything lol
