HUNTINGTON BEACH – Colby Curtin, a 10-year-old with a rare form of cancer, was staying alive for one thing – a movie.

From the minute Colby saw the previews to the Disney-Pixar movie Up, she was desperate to see it. Colby had been diagnosed with vascular cancer about three years ago, said her mother, Lisa Curtin, and at the beginning of this month it became apparent that she would die soon and was too ill to be moved to a theater to see the film.

That was a great move on pixar's part, they seem to take alot of pride in making their films.

Touching story and from seeing the clips I do wanna watch that movie.

that is a really sad and touching story.

To think she dies just 7 hours after and couldn't even open her eyes to see the screen.

Pixar, my hat is off to you.

Well it goes to show you, people still do care in this Hell called earth...but it doesn't hurt that good PR helps Pixar make more money...Good job though on Pixar's part, two Big FAT thumbs "UP"

PR it may be to a point...but it still shows that some people still have an idea as to compassion for a fellow human being...kudos to Pixar for giving such an effort in fulfilling a dying girl's wish...
