Warhammer 40K: Space Marine - Demo out on steam!!!

I haven't played the full game only the demo. So far the key is the "f" button to stun orcs so you can execute for health regen, your melee weapon and of course fury mode. If you're getting swarmed F>right mouse>right mouse>right mouse>f for aoe stun i believe.

Yeah, but you're getting shot from above at the same time, which quickly drains your shield/health, and one or two hits from the Ork Nob takes the rest.

I know there's a particular technique hidden in there, but I haven't figured it out yet. (nor do I care to anymore).

something tells me u weren't utilizing ur "roll" ability. jus roll outta the way, aim and take them down. and as LQDSNK said, stun an Ork when ur health's low and ginsu his ass for a pick-me-up. too bad u gave up on it. it was decent game.

I beat this on hardest dying maybe three times in total.

the key is using a controller. keyboard controls are nonsense.

I tried controller, I tried keyboard.  I try everything except put myself I'm the game Tron-style.  No dice.

I very nearly hurled my controller. 

I say 'yuh see dat, I done'.

Just finished this AWESOME mc game!

10 unstable chaos warp power core devices out of 10

An absolute stunner. Relic and THQ out did themselves with Warhammer's latest outing into the third person arena. Can't remember when last I had this much fun.

As a true and long standing fan of the series, they did not disappoint. Not in the least.

Took me about 8 hours to complete on normal difficulty.

Arc, if you think the beginning missions were hard...you should see the stress when the Chaos marines and demons reach on the scene. Death immc.

I died probably at least 30 times during that play through, lol. Despite receiving weapon and armor upgrades, the enemy forces were definitely not to be trifled with. If you get caught napping for a minute, they will send you back to the emperor in a body bag.

Still loved the game and the combat system so much that I didn't mind one bit. It was a testament to the greatness of Space Marine. Also, fits in with the lore. Remember, these are the elite fighting forces of mankind. They won't be sent in to battle against insignificant foes. Heavy resistance is expected.

That aside, to see the Warhammer 40,000 universe fully realized, up close and in third person was a dream come true. This is EXACTLY what I've wanted from Blizzard with their Starcraft universe. This is precisely what Starcraft Ghost should have been.

Blizzard I hope you guys are paying attention!
