Leilana alright looking but no one in the game could compare with Morrigan for hotness. Feisty tongue too.

but enough on that....this game is HARD!!!!!!!!

I practically have to take a cowards route for some of the more epic battles. Luring enemies one by one out of the main battle and into a side room or so to dispatch them.

Can't stand up to the main force and duke it out toe to toe at all. Fought this one, ser cauthrien, for like an hour before beating her.

I like a challenge but damn, this is ridiculous.

Still, I won't substract a point, still 10/10. A glorious game. Just be mindful, if you like to beat games and not have the games beat you. lol. DragonAge AI ain't going down without a fight.

Right now, my attack squad is Morrigan (only cause she bess), Wynne (Healer extraordinaire), Alistair (must move with my warden bredren) and yours truly (dual wielding warrior champion)

Morrigan can render any elite opponent inert with her hexing ability. Have bad man whiffing right through. lol. Constant miss. Her Sleep and Waking Nightmare combination can tie up ranged mobs.
Wynne immobilizes with Petrify. Less messy than Cone of Cold imo, no friendly fire risk. She can then smash the petrified baddie to bits with Stone Fist. Again, no friendly fire on that spell either. That combo is death to enemy mages.
She also has a somewhat shakey (pun intended) earthquake spell. Doesn't help much but I use it when desperate on ranged mobs.

The boys go to town with Melee attacks. I use every dual wield trick in the book. Swinging two full blades idmc.

Alistair does the sword and shield tango. Pummels and shield bash's galore. I still don't find him as resilient in battle given the stats and talents but he's a grey warden, so who better to go against the dark spawn with, if not one of my own brethren?? lol.

At the later stages of the game, most of my time is spent baby sitting Wynne and Morrigan so they don't get killed and can buff / heal/ nuke baddies.

wait how far u reach? that grand dragon was a tough contender.

and Shale trumps Alistar as a tank character.

anything trumps alistar yes, I was just going through the stats and he has contributed the least.

Even Wynne, the healer, doing more damage than him and contributed more kills. lol

I suspect he is soaking up a lot of pain with all of his defensive talents but the game doesn't have a statistic for that.

They should include a "damage deflected or absorbed" category. something like that.

Poor fella. I'll still keep him as a primary squad member just out of loyalty. Used Shale a few times, she rocks, literally. The friendly fire on some of her more devastating moves was a little troublesome but still, she's a worthy companion and an awesome tank. Easy on the pocket too, little need to equip with anything, save a few adorning gems. lol

Now in Denerim stirring up trouble for Loghain. Not sure how far that is. Been playing for 88 hours (if Steam's account can be trusted). Says 30% in the character stats screen but it also says 70% world explored. Not sure how to interpret that.

Only @ level 16. Hear men like crixx hit 25. So some ways to go still to catch up.

just finished this game....no....not a game, this masterpiece.

Got DAMN. Almost 100 hours of Dragon Age and boy did I enjoy every minute of it.

They deserved every cent of my money, in fact, I owe them more money. That is how bad this game was. They have honed the art of creating an RPG to perfection.

Can't bestow enough kudos nuh. Will be buying the DLC promptly on release. Have to support people who deliver this kind of entertainment yes.

nah, ran the game stock.

I heard people say the graphics was rubbish. Granted, it's not Crysis level but to me the graphics looked great for the most part.

What did you think?

graphics certaintly aint spectacular,

but far from rubbish here thats for dam sure. ran everything max and at 1920 x1200 resolution. looked very impressive.

the default textures are lower than 640 rez
even scaled on a 1920 screen it looks like duke nukem with reflections.
high rez upgrade a must
and the high rez is only 1020
i think the ultra high rez is 1280

thats default textures, i always put that on highest.

no way near Duke Nukem with reflections, and there is a gargantuan difference between playing this on a lower resolution to a much high resolution. max out all detail settings, slap on AA and increase resolution. you WILL see a difference.
(Im a vain bastard so sue me..)

and thats without the high res pack.

this aint no graphical masterpiece but it aint so slouch either.

of course i tried maxing out the settings as soon as i got it.
The stock textures, even on max settings dont get higher than 640 x 480

nah man crixx, the graphics didn't seem that bad to me at all. (as can be seen by my screen shots)
