Yeap. Wynne is great on heals. I used my char for melee dps (warrior dual wield) and Shale as my tank. Morigan is the last for dps...she friggin kicks ASS as a mage. I caught a set of enemies in one shot with her and Wynne.
Earthquake with Wynne, then Blizzard and Tempest with Morigan

all u see is XP fly out from dead bodies. About 20 man dead one shot.

DONT start as a mage. play them (if you end up doing it) the second time around.

tried the HD textures....very pweety...ooo Morrigan... :happy0203:

neeways Crixx its similar gameplay to Kotr and Baldur's Gate, if you didnt like those you wont like this. but give it a shot, its the best rpg ive played for this decade easily.

witcher en no where as epic as this. trust meh

i beat witcher and it was getting to a level grind monotony coming down to the ending. the action in witcher has a hack n slash aspect to it which is more visceral, but the combat is the only thing which kind of gives this competition.

strategy, you cant just expect to muscle yuh way though this like me, jade emp and kotor. yuh need a strat, the mobs much more diff and smarter than bioware games before

my current party consist of

1 tank
1 healer
2 dps/cc/support

make sure the healer stays alive and has enough mana pots

the dps/crowd control/support i using is morrigan and the bard girl, morrigan freeze and frost weapon, bard girl have a melee range stun and a kinda song or sum that does improve mana/stamina regen

im the tank to keep aggro

i take control of them before a fight and put them in static positions

healer to the back, dps/support/cc to the middle, with me in the front, i take as much aggro as i can, i freeze mobs i have aggro on already, it is possible to lose aggro if you move to far away from them, then i pull the straglers (archers hidden rogues) using the aggro roar, once you have that just use dps on the mobs that not frozen to kill them fast, you have to pause and take control of where your party attking, make sure is the same mob u attacking, or they will pull aggro off you, you doh want that, the tank deals shit for dmg and them is squishies

by that time freeze ready to go again and or the stragglers dead

either refreeze the first setta mobs, and take out the remaining stragglers or

refreeze the first setta mobs, and take out 1 or 2 with some HARD hits, frozen mobs shatter like whoa if you hit them hard

pop a few pots and yuh gtg

and remember morrigan can shape shift and deal decent melee dmg if she outta mana, and i not sure but it seems as if her mana does come back faster when she shapped

that is basically my routine

it take long before i learn that shit, i had to start over cuz i messed up bad, i just bad up myself and meh crew riding like vagrant

PS

freeze is friendly fire!

freeze cone is a blessing and a curse

i take control of her to cast that one myself cause it can be so useful if you do it right.

I play a rogue so when she cones i backstab like a mad man hoping to shatter the mobs.
IF i cant do it then the big guy usually is able to with that mighty blow madness.

Wynne has really good tactics so i let her heal on her own for mana management sake.
But sometimes it comes down to sacrificing everyone to keep her alive with some mana and actually letting the healer win the fight.

I play on hard so is a real real scene.
I finished the Mage tower last nite. ZOMGGGGGGGGGGGG that was frakkin hard lol and tiring but i wasnt letting it beat me.

I giving that a rest yes, i know ill have many long nights and wont get other things done if i stay on it.
My team is rogue, tank (Quarian (sp) guy), super ultra mega sexy morrigan (with no clothes on once we not battling) and Wynne.
I might switch big guy out for the shield tank though, his magic resistance plus shield tactics now that i have a healer will be invaluable, ill just have to rely on back stabby goodness for dps.

I cant stand bard girl and the fucking dog that keeps barking...
Wanna get that Assasin from Crows whatever though.. so i can finnaly get my assasin specialisation.
THey make it way to hard to get rogue spec man.
