Day 9

I can't recommend Mass Effect 2 enough. GOTY material. If you haven't played it yet.....can't go wrong at the give away price of $17

Lil curious about Last Remnant. Apprentice gave it good reviews and at $9.99, I'm tempted.

1 day to go.

Mass Effect 2 actually $6.80 on the American store, if you have a friend who can gift it to you, now is a good time.

Looks like tomorrow will be

Prince of Persia,Hitman, X, Dead Space 2.

6.8 is decent phoenix for $9.99

Its not a stellar game for sure and not worth $49.99

but at a heavily discounted price, I would go for a 6.8 rated game

could be a good time waster to fill a lull period between blockbuster titles.

got damn, 8.0.....well that's pretty impressive.

Still, the meta score on the PC platform dips into 6.5 territory (as seen on gamerankings.com)

http://www.gamerankings.com/pc/950908-the-last-remnant/index.html

That's usually where I base my opinions from.

Still, like Berserk, I'll take a chance for $9.99

SOLD!

It's actually a great game u kno. i didn't play it through to the end, but the time

I spent on it was enjoyable. The battle system requires quite a bit of strategy.

And It can get extremely tough at times, so be warned.

absolutely right about considering time.

Which is why I'd only play it in a lull. Not when other more deserving games have yet to be played.

Day 10 of the sale

Now I know Duke Nukem had horrid reviews but for nostalgia sake, gonna take a crack at it. 50% off should soften the blow.

You guys entering the Steam Grand Prize giveway right? I'm up to 8 tickets in their 10 game giveaway raffle (Thanks again Berserk for the heads up)

grabbed never winter nights 2 today and grabbed last remnant yesterday.
Ive been searching hard for a good pretty and highly enjoyable rpg.

THis is not it. But its not as bad as the reviews i remember hearing when it came out.

BUTTTTT its 2000% a console port... disgustingly so... if they had made any effort at all, even a little bit of it, to make it more pc like, it would get better ratings... but its... its handicapped by its console veins.
BUt.. till neverwinter nights finish download.. and i make up my mind whether to get civ 5 or not.. this will do.

Also got that drakensang 2 thing...
Not impressed yet but ill see.

seriously tempted with the Neverwinter nights 2.

The game is old like the road though, released in 2007.

I don't like how Steam pulls the wool over your eyes with their platinum edition release date of 2010. That's bound to fool a few gamers.

They should boldly mark the original release date as well.

Crixx get witcher 2. And Mass Effect 2. Both are Grade A and will satisfy your RPG hunger for awhile to come.
Neither are Rpg 'lite' either,(cough cough Fable 3) so be prepared for a a pretty hardcore product, especially from witcher 2.

@phonenix, on the steam store, all the details for getting tickets are there. Usually achieved from doing little odds n ends in games, or by editing your profile. A partner of mine has 24 already oui. I have like 11 or something. It ends tomorrow though.

Played out ME2 already...

Thinking of witcher 2 but... i got stuck in a stupid save state snaffu in witcher 1 that has mean hesitant to go back to that game.
But i did love the combat system, unique.
