i say its better to mod it becuz it dont do anything bad to ya ps2 and yes the dvd still works and plus ya could buy six games for the price of one original

Much sense from Rampage given here. I currently own a modded ps2 and the it plays not only burn cd games but dvd games as well as dvd movies. You are also able to play ps1 games burnt or original on the system. The only thing you would lose really is your cd player ablility. Playing music on your ps2 a waste of time in reality.

Seriously, would you buy a ps2 to play MUSIC? It just puts unwanted stress on the dvd lens. CD playing option is not all that great anyway.

all i know when i go and modify and de ppl who i went by frig it up i will go back and take a refund or take up a new ps2 and walk out de store

if yuh think they will frig it up, why modify in the first place??? there is no law requiring u to modify the ps2....

This has lead me to the hatred of those guys. Really annoying when you have kickass games to play and they play lame music.
