Hoss, I THIS close to f**king telling flow HTMC and take back they F**King modem. You know them site not even working? The mc HELPLINE giving a busytone.

WHAT THE F**K is this? THIS is service? This shit so bad I seriously contemplating taking back tstt broadband. Ah swear.

that is not a flow problem guy. that is a wiring problem. I had that same issue with blink whenever it rained my connection went to shit.

My net works well even when it rains...I have another problem tho, I tend to hear an explosion and all my electronics go dead

1mb downloads consistent and thing, while peyonging games online.

wonder if those upgrades came already or something.

dread as bad as flow service might be at times now
it cannot and does not compare to the years of intentional bad mind service from tstt
them didnt give a fuck about us, raping us with price an shitting on us with bad service cause they had no competition.
Flow come and in months of their broadband service reaching prices fall by 80% across de board.
That alone is reason to support them

where you living woodyear i have that same problem, the transformer by me explode April, May, June. It happen again last week but it was normal compared to the previous ones.

Yeah and I agree with Crixx ppl can complain about Flow poor service etc. but I will NEVER forget the horror I had with tstt before they had competition. Competition arrive and magically service gets rebranded, prices fall by 80% and speeds magically increase. Whatever tstt, Flow not perfect but I not switching back at all.

I wish Flow would fix my ping issues when playing BC2 (usually close to or at 999ms )and the general slowness of the internet...

This going on for weeks now and it killing my desire to even go online outside of work...

Doh get me more damn vex than I already am eh. I do pingtest this morning (when rain was falling) and it was fine. I sure sure that when I reach back home it go be back to hell.

Oh and btw, i spend a total of 45 minutes on the phone yesterday evening and couldnt get to talk to anyone.

granted, it ain't all roses with flow....but it has been a welcome shake up to the internet scene on this island thanks to their entry into the market some years aback.

No denying.

For that alone, we should be very thankful.

Trinis can now boast that they have true broadband. (still not impressed with the youtube streaming, but aside from that)

and now that movietowne has 3d, there is little reason to migrate, lol.

As far as getting quick service, you really need to know someone on the inside. That has saved my neck three times now and counting.

Flow made the decision to downgrade real easy though....cause I'm still not getting 1mb up with my 10mb/1mb connection.

Stuck with a wshb 10mb/256k.

So come July 15th, is heavy 5mb/256k immc.

Save a cool $100.00

on the plus side, at least the youtube streaming much better here. Though saturday @ 4PM ain't exactly primetime for a test. Will continue to monitor.

as a follow up to this,

They effected my downgrade, now running at a balmy 2mb/256k and with the same upload speed as with my supposedly 10mb/1mb package.

Hurray for savings

Now to see if it gets bumped up to the 5mb/256k on the 15th of July.

Since they supposedly fixed our area.. I've been getting 5mbps tops.
And youtube videos actually streamed :/
But past few days, all that "luxury" has dissapeared... back down to 2mbps, sticking youtube etc.
Well the bandwidth is VERY unstable, so I still have my doubt about those upgrades next week.
I really hoping they flip on some switches and I do get the speed I'm paying for.
