Yeah boy, but Quintus good look for that backstab. Blatant disregard for Solonius right through and the man was constantly seeking his interest and that of his father's. No love yes.

hahaha @ scheme-a-ton. Ent! They hone corruption into an art form yes. I real feel sorry for Gaia. She didn't deserve that.

That primus was as you said, beyond epic.

A battle of the ages.

That retiarii held his own well with the net. Impressive. Still, that dual weilding Gannicus, as always, stole the show. Crixus was not far behind.

Such poetry only comes along once in a blue moon. How difficult it is now for any other TV series to satiate appetite.

Encore idmc!

How yuh like Tullius becoming part of the "foundation" lol. As my friend put it, this is a soap opera for men hehe.

I watched it with my fiancee, she wasn't a big fan of Cossutios especially in the finale, he forget the poor girl name lol. With a face like this you know he's up to no good :p

The last two episodes in blood and sand made it way much better than gods of the arena

Blood and Sand is the very reason Gods Of The Arena exists in the first place.

Now that you've seen GoTA in its entirety, it is now imperative that you watch BaS.

so someone like myself who haven't started watch either series should start with GoTA or stick to how it was aired; watching BaS first?

I would say watch BaS first, so that you will be enlightened with the back story of GoTA..I think it plays out much better the way it was aired...IMHO

Well, seeing as they spoil the ending of BaS season finale during the first minute of GoTA,
then it's better you watch it as it aired.  BaS first.

I just started watching Skins, the original UK series not the american reboot

I didn't think I'd like it so much, but the characters really grew on me. Definitely worth the look imo.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0840196/

"The story of a group of British teens who are trying to grow up and find love and happiness despite questionable parenting and teachers who more want to be friends (and lovers) rather than authority figures."

And a more in-depth synopsis,

"Series One and Two focuses on a group of British teens tries to grow up and learn about love and life with little adult supervision (And lots of PARTYING). Sid tries to be everyone's friend and usually ends up on the short end of the stick. He is mostly manipulated by best friend Tony, whose girlfriend Michelle he is in love with. Tony is one to try anything once, including every girl he meets. He manipulates not only Sid and Michelle but anyone else who will let him. Anwar is just looking to lose his virginity. Maxxie is along for the ride and dealing with his homosexuality. Cassie is in love with Sid but has some mental issues. The parents are trying to grow up too and the teachers are being their friends and lovers so they only have each other. "

The younger set might not get this show.

Mad Men is an American dramatic television series created and produced by Matthew Weiner. The episodes are premiered on Sunday evenings on the American cable network AMC and are produced by Lionsgate Television. It premiered on July 19, 2007, and completed its fourth season on October 17, 2010.

Mad Men is set in the 1960s, initially at the fictional Sterling Cooper advertising agency on Madison Avenue in New York City, and later at the newly created firm of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce.[3] The focal point of the series is Don Draper (Jon Hamm), creative director at Sterling Cooper and a founding partner at Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce, as well as those in his life, both in and out of the office. As such, it regularly depicts the changing moods and social mores of 1960s America.

Took in the Game of Thrones episode 1.

It was alright. Was hoping for something on par with Rome, Spartacus Blood & Sand or Gods of the Arena.

While those would rate 9/10, I'll give this a more tepid 7/10

I am sure those words will be eaten with ketchup as the series progresses as its way too early to judge, with just two episodes out. lol

wait a man say he wasnt impressed...wda jed.

that episode was epic!! geezan it set the perfect stage for things to come. I could already see how turmoil going and start.

From what I hear it was very very faithful to the source material, and if it maintains that vein, well this could very well be show of the year. Afterall the writer George Martin was likened to an american Tolkein, and even a better more mature author at that.
