(but then again, going home from school at nights after 9:00 is just as daunting)...This brings up my main issue... I wanna get the hell outta Trinidad, it too damn unsafe... but then again, so is every where else in the world :SBut Noob... i think i have to agree with you....*Goes to save money to buy land*

My Job is seldom boring, usually challenging and as most none government IT... aka private sector... it doh pay enough XD but I have a job so Praise Jah!!!
Seems like Construction and Energy sectors have been hit hardest so far.
Yeah it is unfortunate that there was not more diversification away from the energy sector over the past few years...
You cannot really generalize as to whether private sector or government pays more, it's a relative scenario.
Well I more or less sidelined and scaled to a minimal level the running of my own business to take up a new job with the government. I need only to point you to the WTMC thread to show you the horrors I've had to endure (and still endure).I started my job a this prestige school all bubbling in January. I loved it.Fast forward to today and I am half-wanting out.Only the salary and the need to make something better of myself in the next 5 years ( a la degree) keeping me there. I still have some leeway in done what I want, but the office politics and me fast become the unwilling "IT gofor" (shut up , Cross!), rude, disrespectful children which I like to toss in front on traffic on Mucurapo road (yes I sell out the school name right there).I just need for the term to over to recover from the bs and re-focus to be good for the while. They say you have to stoop to conquer sometimes, I'll do that. I just hope i ent get mash down while stooping.

When they come at me, they better with attack with full force! I was shown a form 3 student who like to rob other students and hear oh he have "friends with guns"..... i hope he know how to use one... and to dodge projectiles from one.Back on topic: I am looking forward to the end of the term. I have a couple of projects to inolement in the school with the principal's approval, namely enabling internet access across the entire school, and hopefully 100% wifi coverage in the process.
