Intel Q6600 CPU...
2.4 GHz, FSB-1066, B3 stepping, 2x4 MB cache
Asking price: ~~$1300~~ NOW $1000
Special Note=> This particular CPU is 'lapped', meaning the heatspreader was machined
to a perfectly flat, shiny finish. Idle/load temps are considerably lower than a stock Q6600
(with a proper HSF of course)

I've got the same board and CPU, asking same price as arc. Also smelling an upgrade in the near future.

Ah could settle for $3000 for board, cpu and 8gigs Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800mhz.

Very well. I shall have this PC fully dismantled by weekend.
Hard O/C gets the mobo and HSF, and Sax gets the video-card.

So...only the RAM and CPU left now...who say it?

OK, so I have a sale pending on 2 sticks of the RAM (4GB) and the memory fan,
so the other pair is available for $500.

I've officially pulled the remaining Corsair Dominator RAM from the sale. Circumstances 'beyond my control' have dictated that I keep em for now.
CPU is still for sale though, at the steal-of-a-deal price of $1000 firm.
