well fellers it finally reach: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-PlayStation-Driving-Force-Racing-3/dp/B0015HYPOO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1273757743&sr=8-1

Took my first races with it last night and boy o boy is this thig dfficult to play with. D force feedback is insane, in so muchthat it is too much. it makes it too real and ths u have to literally fight with d wheel to conol d car at high speeds. i lowered it from d default of 100 to 20. lol.

I think i getin d hang of it doh.

hahhaha at men trying to get a fella called "NotNice" to be "Nice".

This issue easy to solve. Increase the numbers, save the world.

If it have 20 men fighting to play dirt, there will be more than enough to have two sweats concurrently. One with damage and one without.

Recruitment time.

Who could do up a banner for the site? A lil promo poster that we could push on the facebook group, etc....?

(willing to do anything to keep notnice and awesome in the dirt2 sweat, lol)

Yea Wyatt that sound good. Your assignment tonight, say between 7 and 12am is to make a nice banner for use on this site, facebook etc and see how many people u can recruit for the sweat. Feel free to take all the time u need, we want a good banner so it may take say, 4 or 5 days.

On a real, as it is we have more people that can fit in one session as it is so the idea of 2 channels is not a bad one as it turns out.

First Impressions of Logitech Driving Force GT.

out of the box, the wheel is easy to setup, mounting onto desk takes all but a minute. Padels remains inplace on d floor, wheel rest to side of desk when not in use.

Performance:

The forcefeedback in this thing is insane as i've mentioned before, and i've since lowers the feedback strenht from 100-20, and the evironment effects from 50-20. wheel weight remains at 50.

The forcefeedback adds an extra layer of information received from the game that you can learn to love. The wheel emulates weightlessness, so when u stunt on a hump, the wheel goes dead and looose, and as the car hits the ground, the wheel shakes , then firms up as u mash out on the gas. Same applies for corners, the wheels locks up and firms up whiles breaking into the corner, loosens up mid turn, and tights up as u mash out of the corner.

This use of forcefeedback once learned can really improve the driving expereince. The feedback is so acurate that it makes the initial startup rush a bit more bareable, as i can feel every little touch the other cars givin me, and turn d wheel acordingly to keep from spinning out.

Quirks: the wheel reacts as if its real, which means, if u spin out, not only ur car, but the wheel itself spins out of control. if ah man ram u from d side, and u were not prepared, the wheel itself will lock to the left/right, and send ur car spiraling to its doom. Something to get used to i guess.

Plus: The wheel also acurately relays to ur hands what type of surface u driving on, if gravel, the wheel will be rocking slightly left-right, if grass, the wheel will be inbetween firm and loose, dirt, pitch etc etc all have varrying feedback effects that makes the expereince really cool and makes adapting ur control per road conditions better.

All them words, juss speaking on feedback alone. i eh even touch d other stuff yet, but ill pace mehself....
